You know those little things in life that people like to morally police and make you feel guilty about but you just can't muster up the shit to give?

This is a confession thread. I'll start.

I don't give a shit that you supposedly shouldn't feed bread to ducks. I don't care. Don't eat it then. People have been feeding them bread for decades and now we're supposed to bring them organic bloody walnuts or something? Or some other crap they don't want that doesn't float?
They can have my slightly mouldy bread and be grateful.

Also they have to have their young removed at birth cos the parents don't recognise them and kill them.

Also, they have pointed canines, indicating that they should eat meat, but they actually lack the ability to recognise meat as a food source. I think there was an article that someone had found evidence that a wild panda may have eaten meat within the last decade, like bones and fecal matter, but it's not something the entire species do. It was definitely an anomaly.

I think that we should just let them die out.

I remember being told off for feeding the ducks white bread by a family member. I bought a bag of frozen peas for the next time. All of the peas sank to the bottom of the pond. One duck swam underneath to eat some, the rest just ignored them! Now I just bring whatever stale bread I have. They love it!

Honestly, it scares me that women are like this about this topic. I can get having concerns. But it is… frightening. It gives me the same feeling as someone appearing over the side of a toilet stall.

Generally I dont give a shit about much, but being locked in a cell with a rapist is terrifying. The thought that some women are ok with inflicting this on other women blows my mind.

But that’s my point. I’m not expecting anyone to ‘angst’ over anything at all. But essentially you are belittling or demeaning neurodivergent/neurodivergence. I understand life comes with its own problems for anyone, but hidden disabilities (in some cases) caused by being neurodivergent are important for some of us to draw attention to for people to understand needs and not ‘go on’ about! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had eye rolls or tuts in the supermarket (or other places for that matter!) because my neurodivergent son is having a meltdown in the aisle! It’s important for people to have their voices heard for any reason! Happy to listen to your problems, as they are important too!!
