What did it cost? Is it being financed? Did you buy one brand new or is it used?

I'll start: I drive a brand new Mercedes-Benz B200.

OP posts:

I've got a 13 plate Ford B-Max, bought outright for £4350 nearly 4 years ago

it's been a good solid car but the clutch is a bit dodgy now so looking to buy a new one soon and second hand cars are so expensive now so it'll be part cash and part finance

neilyoungismyhero · 26/05/2024 22:13

Peugeot 207cc...worst car I've ever owned it's on it's last legs but I love it in the summer with the lid off.
Bought it a few years ago second hand paid cash.

Maray1967 · 26/05/2024 22:15

2016 ford fiesta, bought in 2019, paid for in cash. Quite fancy a puma but DH and DSs ridicule them. Anyone got one?

ellyfb · 26/05/2024 22:19

Me and DH alternate between my Abarth and his Ateca as we use the Ateca to take DD out and about. Both cars fully paid for. Abarth was £8000 second hand and the Ateca was around £22000 new

Lonelycrab · 26/05/2024 22:20

I wanted something compact and reasonably nippy so opted for a Pagani Utopia. Not the best on economy but it’s nice to have a little bit extra power when needed on the motorway.

HelpMeGetThrough · 26/05/2024 22:22

Ok, I'll go.

Brand spanker Toyota Hybrid. £34,000 not financed.

.... it's a company car.

Our own car. 9 year old Vauxhall, owned outright.

I have Audi q7 , but I can’t see the point of this thread really..

Still a nice car

What’s the point of this thread?

Stealth boasting

Namek · 26/05/2024 22:32

I drive a Jaguar F Pace. Paid £30k for it 2 years ago however it’s secondhand (it was 3 years old when I bought it)

tttigress · 26/05/2024 22:36

I don't have a car (live in the centre of a city).

It does suprise me how much of peoples incomes they plow into cars. In my last job in the UK the guy sitting next to me had a BMW M3 and Range Rover shared between him and his wife. I know how much he earned and it didn't sound like his wife had a totally amazing job. He must have been plowing a third of the family income into car finance. At the time I had a VW Golf with well over 100k on the clock even though we were more or less on the same salary!!

DrStrangesSmarterSister · 26/05/2024 22:40

There must be something about the angle of the headrests on Mercedes Benz that cuts off the bloody supply to the brain 😄...

Probably a bit mangled, but who said this - Stephen Fry maybe?

AgMaggy · 26/05/2024 22:42

A B200 is not a brag, they’re ugly as fuck. It’s the Merc badge catches the eye until people see the rest of it.

Reptilemummy · 26/05/2024 22:45

BMW 420i Sport convertible. Paid cash, my dog loves the top down

Clevs · 26/05/2024 22:45

Å koda Kodiaq VRS.

PiIIock · 26/05/2024 22:50

I can't believe anyone is replying to this LOL

Plus the fact basically everyone just wants to post about their car but nobody is interested in anyone else's😭

Lot of stealth boasting. Worst from OP, who didn't even provide any details of interest except that she drives a Mercedes. Guys, what are we doing? 😂

OhFensa · 26/05/2024 22:53

Clevs · 26/05/2024 22:45

Å koda Kodiaq VRS.

I have a knackered old beemer estate with 250k on the clock. Thinking of getting one of these next. Do you like it? Could you fit two greyhounds in it?

greatvisuals · 26/05/2024 22:53

Data gathering.

There are loads of these threads these days

Allfur · 26/05/2024 22:55

Is this a car version of soggy biscuit

grinandslothit · 26/05/2024 23:01

I don't drive anymore. I have a driver who drives me.

Demonhunter · 26/05/2024 23:10

A 1967 Chevrolet Impala 👹

MissingMoominMamma · 26/05/2024 23:18

A black one.

It’s all mine.

DoctorAcula · 26/05/2024 23:24

Tesla model Y.

Don't own it, company car. I think it was around £50k brand new when I got it last year. Cost to me is around £20pm in tax. It's my first company car and I'm very grateful to have it, particularly since I wfh and have no need to travel for work.

Saz12 · 27/05/2024 00:03

Tesla roadster, owned outright.

Or... not.
