What did it cost? Is it being financed? Did you buy one brand new or is it used?

I'll start: I drive a brand new Mercedes-Benz B200.

A brand new car is literally only brand new for a short period after you drive it off the forecourt. Then it's just a newer car. My car is 13 years old but it does me well. But then I'm not impressed with displays of wealth or keeping up with the Joneses so this thread probably isn't for me!

What’s the point of this thread?

Some people want to brag. Boring as fuck.

Bumblebee907 · 26/05/2024 19:11

Why tho.

Bumblebee907 · 26/05/2024 19:12

OP drop and go, what a sad bastard 🤣

M340 · 26/05/2024 19:15

A 2022 BMW M340i, bought mostly outright with a small finance on (good px)
A 2024 Audi RS5, leased.

Luckily they came with working indicators.

What’s the point of this thread?

Maybe Op is trying to confirm identity of someone they think they might know on here. Otherwise, I have no idea!!

TurtleTackle · 26/05/2024 19:26

A 73 plate picanto GT
However it's getting quite old now I'm thinking about trading it in for a newer model with less milage 😏

Mammma91 · 26/05/2024 19:37

Some sort of new Astra GS, new this year. Through motability for disabled DC.

My first car was a Peugeot 208. Hands down a fantastic car and probably one of the most reliable I’ve ever driven, took a battering for the year I had it and I was sad to sell it on for just under £1k to a new driver who recently passed their test. I really loved that car when I first got my license just after the last lock down. Older model cars are the best and most reliable IMO. I still feel a bit better when I drive past one now 😂

bellocchild · 26/05/2024 19:57

We drive a 10-year-old Alfa Romeo Giulietta, in "Lunar Perle". Bought it new with part-exchange. They've stopped making them. Our hearts are heavy.

That's pretty much what I think. I can't believe people actually answered it.
But there again don't believe everything you believe on the Internet

RobertaFirmino · 26/05/2024 21:41

Are you Sheila Bloom?

FWIW, I have an 02 plate Focus ST. Bloody love the thing. I will cry when she dies.

ChangedForThisAgain · 26/05/2024 21:42

VW Up, 18 plate. Bought outright pre-registered. It’s an absolute workhorse, costs very little to run and has needed no repairs whatsoever.

Onda · 26/05/2024 21:42

A Bugatti Veyron which I'm embarrassed to admit is practically an old banger as it's a 73 plate, must get round to scrapping it and buying a newer, fancier car. Outright of course.

🤭

12 year Old Ford KA. Love it and share with my daughter

A 73 plate. I'm embarrassed for you. What must your neighbours think.

🤭

WhamBamThankU · 26/05/2024 21:51

How much did that cost you? Seeing as you are asking other people, of course.

TheShellBeach · 26/05/2024 14:28

Good question.

Aw it's a dead excited about now posh car thread. Gives you the feelz a brand spanking new car, people want to talk about it. I ruddy would Grin

c3pu · 26/05/2024 21:57

Skoda Octavia mk2 (2010)

Top trim model, bought it used at 7 years old or so. Been reliable and pretty much rock solid since I got it in 2017. I acknowledge it's an old car now at 14 years old and won't have much life in it due to emissions regulations, but I intend to keep it until it's untenable.

Els1e · 26/05/2024 22:02

2005 Nissan Almera - £500. Lovely car to drive with loads of boot space. Shame new parts cost more than the car is worth. 🤷‍♀️
