Perhaps slightly unreasonable. Why not ask her why she did it and stress, v strongly, that you don't want it to ever happen again

They each had an ice cream.

Seriously, take DS once a year, if that. We order a happy meal, DH eats the burger, DS the chips and his water and we leave with the toy.

It is a dreadful concept.

I asked dd what she had done all day as I was homesleeping and MNing doing a very taxing essay.

I had 'We danced,we read,we went for a walk and then we went to Macdonalds for an icecream'

Oh god, we used a Random Nanny in Toronto so I could go to my highschool reunion.

I suggested various local restaurants, left her with cash.

She took them to KFC. [nauseated]
