LOL at all of this.

DS1 wants a birthday party for when he is 5. Maybe I will book our local McDonald's...

Washersaurus · 03/04/2008 21:00

Slight hijack - Hassled, do you have a 'hassledhubby'? It is just that there is one with an AIBU thread about housework and sex

onebatmother · 03/04/2008 21:00

Oh, I do feel your pain moondog.

DD has been coming home singing Jesus songs.

winestein · 03/04/2008 21:01

Oh Moondog - there just isn't the smiley to suit. I'm kind of combining a grin with a wince, all at the same time.

Gawd bless you for posting this. Off to read a book now as any other threads will just pale in comparison.

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:02

Califrau, LOL at being known in McRubbish. The usual sir?? Do they have it ready for him?

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:03

God if that was your husband wouldn't you murder him. Total jiggy ban for about a year.

harpsichordcarrier · 03/04/2008 21:03

lol at obm
dd1 has been singing a song about how god made the world.
I said to her the other day "my God, dd " and she grinned and replied "God isn't here mummy!"
I obviously went because she laughed and said "don't worry mummy I know it's all made up!"

moondog · 03/04/2008 21:03

Oh I'm all for Jesus.
Just not for Smarties.

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:07

I think we should be Jewish because my dd thinks god is real, but Jesus is only for younger children.

I am quite keen on Jesus too, it's the God bloke I have an ishoooooo with.
it's the smiting and the judging, mainly.
oh and the genocide.

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:07

You live near a KFC Amy, you big knacker!

Monkeytrousers · 03/04/2008 21:08

Sack only if you are veggies

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:10

um, what is smiting? Can I have fries with that.

QuintessentialShadows · 03/04/2008 21:10

Seriously. You are considering changing childcare over a 60 pence ice cream in MacDonalds? There must be other issues, surely?

morningpaper · 03/04/2008 21:11

I laughed SO MUCH at this

onebatmother · 03/04/2008 21:11

harpsi, down girl!

It's not just the jesus bit, it's the appalling melodic ugliness I object to.

amytheearwaxbanisher · 03/04/2008 21:12

i live in dublin you cant swing a cat for hitting a fast food kip

Buda · 03/04/2008 21:13

Where in Dublin amy?

MadameCh0let · 03/04/2008 21:14

What you live IN Dublin. Any particular bit of Dublin or on O'Connell st!

I can't believe that they pay 60p for an icecream in UK and it'd be 99c here. That's an appalling rip-off.

amytheearwaxbanisher · 03/04/2008 21:19
