Teacher bought an ex students only fans?

ShyPearlMoose · 02/05/2024 23:59

My friend has an x rated members website and has just told me that our old science teacher from secondary school has bought it! The same teacher that there were always dodgy rumours about him being a creep.

Is this worth mentioning to the school or is that over dramatic? It's really weird but she's 22 now and hasn't been at the school for 4 years.
Thoughts?

Gross I agree. But she’s a sex worker and he’s a customer. He’s old enough so is she. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ifearthishashappened · 04/05/2024 20:45

I work in a school and I would report this. It’s not appropriate as she is an ex student. School staff are expected to have a high standard of morals and signing up to an ex student Only Fans account does cross a boundary. If the school are happy there is no problem and they won’t do anything, no harm done.

OP, lots of people have answered who don't understand teachers' safeguarding responsibilities, please do not listen to anyone saying 'it's not illegal' - maybe not, but it is a breach of professional standards and so unacceptable anyway. In all the teaching posts I have held, it's been a school policy that teachers do not have any social media contact with students for a minimum of five years after the students leave the school. That's normal social media - OnlyFans is a whole other level.

The school absolutely need to know about this; it is serious, it is creepy and your gut instincts are not wrong. He has sought out a former pupil for sexual gratification. It's not acceptable and if the school has robust safeguarding policies they absolutely will act.

Edited

Do you have proof he “sought out a former pupil”.

She has chosen to share her body, her choice, and ask people for payment.

He signed up to an adult site, end of. She has broken her contract by revealing him. He could easily press charges against her.

Jumpers4goalposts · 04/05/2024 21:06

Surely your friend shouldn’t be disclosing this as a customer he has a right to privacy?

FeetLikeFlippers · 04/05/2024 21:14

What do you mean by “bought it?” Your post makes it sound like your friend owns a business along the lines of Only Fans and the teacher has bought the website/business from her, but the comments are about him subscribing to her account so I’m assuming that’s what you meant? I must be very out of touch when it comes to cyber-speak!

She's selling, he's buying. No-one is glowing here, but no laws broken - shame him means to shame her.
Icky all round.

This this this with bells on.

Missola · 04/05/2024 21:19

Agree this is grim, definitely odd and worrying behaviour. I think it’s also true that he isn’t doing anything illegal, but may breach data protection to contact the school. I think your friend should block his account, not take his money. If there is the possibility to tell him why, maybe tell him she feels very uncomfortable and he should maybe think on that….

This⬆️. I also work in a school and the expectations of moral behaviour are very high. There are strict guidelines about social media. I imagine a lot of posters are not trained in safeguarding. Also, there are guidelines that make sure that safeguarding is not hampered by GDPR.

Maybe but even if he was on site at a boarding school surely he'd have a home address for his bank? Im just no buying this story at all

Many teachers who live onsite in boarding schools don’t have another address, that IS their home address.

He can't decide to press charges.

Also, I don't think that OF reveals the purchasers details to the seller?

Oh do they stay there in holidays and stuff? I just assumed it would be like a term time thing!

ftp · 04/05/2024 23:27

Never come across this, but I assume from the comments that she is providing porn for viewing?

Does she know if he is married? If he is single, and in your view unattractive then he is just using an outlet (better looking at adult women like your friend than perving the 6th form?)
It is not only men who do so, but couples spicing things up. She is selling the modern version of the newsagent top shelf, so why is she upset that men are using her services?
If she is selling, as some site do, specific women who look like they are children, then you might have cause for concern. But as it is, she has already broken the law by telling you - you would get her into trouble if you reported it.

No most of us live there all the time, myself and my wife have "lived in" for I think 16 years, we do own a home but its rented out, our house on school grounds is home, so everything is registered here.

Clearly that ups the ante for being squeaky clean in your private dealings as its all on a school site - which makes me disbelieve the story, because only a grade A idiot would put a school address to such a thing

Unless

Its a current pupil, who is not fond of the teacher who has set up said account in his name (not bank account, user account) - I'm assuming OPs friend has not seen the teacher in question on screen so to speak.

He could take a private prosecution if he deemed she had sullied his name by revealing personal information.

The only way this could become a safeguarding issue (and I've been in teaching for over 20 years and a DSL) is if there is a link made between the activity (paying for her service) and the school (ie using their email) - in that case it could well be a sackable or even TRA worthy event.

If however it is just a 47 year old man, buying the services of a 22 year old's quite legal enterprise, then there is no way any of the teachers standards are broken, if it's in private, out of school, and legal it cannot be said to be reputationally damaging for the profession or a safeguarding concern as it involves no pupils.

The 5 year period suggested by some schools is not lifted from any official rulings, and when it is used it applies to social contact, not the purchase of services from businesses run by former pupils - my former pupil services my gas boiler, which is his legitimate and legal trade. This former pupil is doing erotic pictures / films, you can moralise, personally I think its very icky, but not illegal, any more than being a gas fitter, and it's only the law that counts, not personal opinion.

colette1970 · 04/05/2024 23:59

She is selling herself ,he is buying why report him ,he is paying per view if she is creeped out then tell her to delete her account , he is not breaking any rules if she wants to put herself out there then she should know people will see not just old teachers but also old men

MooFroo · 05/05/2024 01:28

I’m sure he’s not the only person she knows who’s watching her!

how would she know if her own relatives, friends or friends partners, friends of friends, work colleagues, neighbours, are paying to watch her or other peoples daughters get their bits out for money?

ShyPearlMoose · 05/05/2024 01:43

She's literally shown me a screenshot of his name, date of birth, card details and billing address as the school address. Definitely him and not someone else. It isn't OF, it's her own website she's created so she can see the details of everyone who subscribes but it's OF style content.

OP posts:
ShyPearlMoose · 05/05/2024 01:45

You literally go to her website. Click 'become a member' and put in your details and click a subscription. Then you can access all her pics etc.
her subscription is £25pm which is what he's bought

She's a page 3 model

But page 3 hasn't existed for some time now, OP?

Daily star

OP posts:
ShyPearlMoose · 05/05/2024 01:49

Sorry I just said only fans because 'x rated members website' is a bit too long for the title and needed to get the point across. I did say in the initial post that she had her own 'only fans like' website

OP posts:
ShyPearlMoose · 05/05/2024 01:54

Page 3 does exist, she does it for DailyStar. Google it.
It's a boarding school, he put the school down as his billing address. I don't know if he lives there.
It's not far fetched I've just given you more information as people were concerned he didn't know who she was. He definitely does as she does her website alongside her modelling and her full name is plastered everywhere.

OP posts:
ShyPearlMoose · 05/05/2024 02:00

this is what she’s sent me. Obviously I’ve blocked out his name and the school name for posting here but yeah

Teacher bought an ex students only fans?
OP posts:
Brumhilda · 05/05/2024 04:03

Only fans is gross, she’s gross and he’s gross.

it’s all gross.

but if she’s entitled to sell it, and she’s an adult, then he’s entitled to buy it as an adult And it’s no one else’s business.

CestLaVie123 · 05/05/2024 04:04

Daily Star

My understanding is that the Daily Star stopped publishing images of topless glamour models in 2019, when your friend would have been about 17.
