Two men, one 20s other indeterminate age 50ish, could have had a hard paper round, got on my bus, every other word F. Older guy wants plenty of legroom to "stretch the fuckers". They're just legs fgs. He's got phone wallpaper that says "I identify as a cunt". I think they're pointless.

What makes them low lives?
Did OP say they attacking anyone? Vandalising anything? Openly watching porn in public? Being verbally abusive? Torturing animals?
No. They were minding their own business on the bus, unlike OP who was nosying over their shoulders to look at their screens.

Swearing is just words.

I missed OPs last post somehow. They do sound annoying talking loudly and manspreading.
But to call people low lives or pointless is pretty horrible and judgemental.

FatOaf · 27/04/2024 09:36

I'm sick of hearing people swearing all the time, just like I'm sick of hearing their music, phone conversations, etc. It's part of the belief that has taken over the vast majority of the population that the world is their personal movie/soap opera and all the other people around them are just extras whose comfort and feelings don't matter.

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 27/04/2024 09:37

I think you're getting a hard time here OP. I wouldn't have been happy with it either. Especially if I had DC with me.

PTSDBarbiegirl · 27/04/2024 09:38

So?
Sound like a couple of harmless fuckers. Depending on where you come from 'fuck' is a jack of all trades word. In Glasgow & Ireland it's a verb, noun, adverb and adjective and even a full sentence. All at once.

SoupDragon · 27/04/2024 09:39

HelloDenise · 27/04/2024 08:53

That's probably true. And I don't give a 🙈🙈🙈 what a foul mouthed pair of tattooed chavs think about me as I don't identify as a CU Next Tuesday. I'll try and get his number for you next time I see him as you seem to think he's just a nice guy!

You sound far worse than them.

ssd · 27/04/2024 09:42

Id love to read what they thought of you op

And cunts a term of endearment

They are enjoying themselves and using the natural dialect of their class and culture, not bothering you, keep your sticky beak on your own biz

Being a dick head cuts across all classes

I don't give a fig what they think or what you think of me for that matter.

I'm on the east coast of Scotland and agree. That's how it's used here.

As is cunt. Although I hate that word personally so don't use it.

HelloDenise · 27/04/2024 09:49

This is not Scotland nor Ireland. It's Redditch.

"don't give a fig what they think or what you think of me for that matter."

So why should they care what you think of them?

Gorgonemilezola · 27/04/2024 09:54

Op, they sound awful. So many don't seem to be able to ever string a sentence together without invenctive.

Wonder what they do when they're really angry, because they leave themselves nowhere to go verbally if everything that comes out of their mouths is ripe.

Acting with a bit of decorum, especially in public, seems to be a dying art.

They don't care what anyone thinks because they're an example of the self entitled people who play loud music, take up too much space on public transport and walk down the street staring at their phones and think everyone should dodge around them. There's a lot of them about.

Op, you also said you don't care what anyone else thinks of you. Doesn't that just make you the same?

Oh stop being so judgemental. 🙄🙄

user411966691966 · 27/04/2024 10:04

I know what you mean OP. I think some people think it's cool to swear and I have a mate like this who effs and jeffs and I notice people looking at us when we are out, but I wasn't brought up to swear constantly and never reciprocate.

I'm not perfect and can turn the air blue if I bang my big toe, but in life I tend to be polite. My parents were polite. I've never heard them say the eff or CU next Tuesday word, but a bloody might have slipped out over the years!

I was responding to someone who talked about this being usual in Scotland and Ireland. Why don't you stop being so snippy.

No. You're being deliberately obtuse and I didn't say that. I care what people I care about think of me, not blokes who swear on public transport.

Yes, annoying. But I find it far more irritating when people create threads like this to make self righteous and generalised remarks about “types” of people.
If you were bothered by their conversation you could have said something. Instead you create a bitchy thread to talk about 2 unknown people on the internet. It doesn’t get more pathetic really.

Yes totally judgy of people who behave like that in public.
