Please share your daily meals again! Chateaubriand or pot noodle, eat like a bird, eat like a queen?

Let's all share our delights 🤤

Yesterday mine was..
2 almond and fig cookies (homemade, gf)
2 coffees with monin syrup
Baked chicken with potatoes, carrots, peppers, garlic, onions. And cauliflower and peas.
4 glasses white wine, ooops?!

@Wheredidallthecowboysgo five guys! I haven't had that for ages! I love that you can have mushrooms in it. But they changed the chillis so they're normal green peppers now I think?

Today I went back to the 'mezze' plate. That Chinese food made me feel a bit queasy 🙃

Lettuce, watercress, hummus, feta, beetroot, spring onions, carrots, cucumber olives, sun-dried toms and pitta.
Lazy AF today so that's gonna be lunch and dinner!
More wine obviously...

Weetabix, banana and almond milk & coffee for breakfast

Salmon and avocado sushi for lunch

fruit platter as a snack apple, orange, blueberries, melon, pineapple, mango

Dinner was BBQ pork, coleslaw and homemade wedges

Sounds amazing and lots of goodness too

These threads depress me so much (but entertain too)
3 mugs of tea
two large thick slices of butter and marmite bread
3 chocolate cookie
1 toddler snack
1 ready meal lasagna
Half a warm toddler pouch of spag bol
1 mouthful of melon
4 cheery tomatoes
1 home made burger in bun with added cheese and gherkin
1 extra cheese slice

The last couple of days it's been salad, with left over chicken (from Friday and Saturdays roast, cheese, pork pie, boiled egg, home made coleslaw/César salad/celery and apple salad, beetroot for dinner. for lunch veg and humous.

today it was rye sourdough toast with philedelphia and sliced tomatoes on top with celery and carrots and humous for brunch

Dinner is veg soup made with the stock from my chicken and toasted cheese and tomato sandwich.

(Have I done a mums net chicken?Wink)

@BobbyBiscuits, yes! So many different toppings to choose from. I didn’t know that they had changed the chillis now. I usually get green pepper & have hot sauce along with other things. I have to say it was pretty good!

B: smoothie with frozen raspberries, Greek yoghurt & peanut butter. Bake from frozen croissant with butter & jam.

L: kimchi flavour noodles (the cheapo ones with the sachet flavouring), small veg samosa

D: lentil dhal with Greek yoghurt on the side

Snacks: pickled onion monster munch, strawberry yoghurt, cheese & marmite oatcake, a few cola fizzy laces

Drinks: water, pineapple juice & green tea.

B. 1 & a bit slices of toast with peanut butter & jam then realised the bread was a bit mouldy. 2 coffees

quite a healthy day today:

B: holier than thou grains mix with added soya flakes, linseed, bran, blueberries and banana and soy milk. Tea and green tea.
L: had the work's canteen salad as the other stuff was so bad. and a tiny horrible spinach cream soup. Cappuccino.
home-time snack: 2 pieces toast and marmite, half a banana, spoonful leftover cottage cheese. Tea.
Dinner: lentil dhal with rice and yoghurt, salad with avocado and tomato, 2 squares of Lindt milk chocolate. Water during the day.

Toast and butter and marmalade for breakfast
Lunch was leftover green beans in mayo with cucumber, pepper, walnuts, cottage cheese, pickled watermelon rind, celery, cream crackers and an apple
Dinner- kidney bean stew from yesterday with egg fried rice using the leftover rice. Then I made some Yorkshire puddings for the freezer so had two of those with some blackberry compote. (Compote sounds so much fancier than stewed!)

Dinner was home made pizza (pitta base) topped with olives and peppers and Italian deli meats, green salad with radishes, Cole slaw and pan fried potato slices.

Some (5) biscuits with a couple of my cups of tea (custard creams and shortbread) (5 altogether not five with each cup of tea 🤣)

Lunch - salad (lettuce, cottage cheese, celery, apple, walnuts, grapes)
Dinner - baked salmon fillets in an hot-and-sour type marinade, stir-fried veg
Drinks - four cups of tea, two Diet Cokes, a few glasses of sparkling mineral water

Day before:

Lunch - two smoked mackerel fillets with salad and a Greek yogurt and tahini dressing
Dinner - chilli con carne made with pork mince
Drinks - six cups of tea, a Diet Coke, sparkling mineral water

S: Seeded toast with peanut butter

L: Focaccia sandwich with cheese, tomato, vegan ham, mayo, olive oil

S: 2 squares dark chocolate, handful walnuts

D: Not sure yet, maybe something light like an omelette and salad

Drinks: 1 litre water, 3 teas, 1 oat flat white, 2 x diet cokes. No more wine !!
