Regularly have to teach cpr to people wearing these. I make sure I’m not standing behind them. Tough on their classmates. If they are not wearing underwear with a robust gusset you can pretty much see the outline of their vulva.

Lots of teens/young women round my way wear them! I think it's a sort of equivalent of wearing a low cut top/showing cleavage?

Yes. When I was growing up too big bums were considered the height of ugliness and people obsessed over not wearing something that made their bum look big.

I'm afraid my experienc growing up must have permanently affected me because I still find big bums unattractive and can't understand how people can keep a straight face when they see some of the more extreme ones.

Oh wow, they're actually a thing! I saw my first pair yesterday in the gym changing rooms and couldn't take my eyes off them. All I could think about when I saw them was "why on earth does anyone want to accentuate their puckered anus?" How awful. Mind you, I've almost come face to face with an actual puckered anus in the same changing rooms when a woman bent over in front of me. There's just no need for it.

I have shorts and leggings like this, they're really comfy. Loads of my friends and other women I see around wear them too.

I'm really not the pearl-clutching type, but when I see very young girls in these (tweens/teens) I do notice grown men gawping at them and it's.... unsettling.

Ditto - I call them butt-shorts. I blame the Kardashians for that and lots of women doing exercises that make them look like dogs peeing presumably to get that 'two basketballs' effect bum.

Saw LOADS of the shorts and leggings versions of these in my SE England location in 2023……….. but thankfully they have died a death here in 2024. Only flattering on about 1% of the population.
