I'm really not the pearl-clutching type, but when I see very young girls in these (tweens/teens) I do notice grown men gawping at them and it's.... unsettling.

Adult female wanting to call attention to her backside? Whatever floats your boat! Eleven year old girl with some adult pervert staring at her crotch? Ugh.

How about we hold the adult male accountable for this not the 11 yo?

  1. Women still can’t wear what they want to wear. Sad times. Ffs. Why do you care? Does it hurt you? Women want to be taken seriously yet there’s women out there posting nasty stuff like this for no reason. Just stop.

Women can wear what they want. But if someone chooses to wear clothes that focus attention on their anus and is 1 metre away from my face on all fours in yoga fuck yeah I'm going to comment on it.

Edited

So by your own admission, they still can’t wear what they want. 🙄🙄

Of course I hold the creepy-ass adult male responsible! But that doesn't change the fact that a young girl wearing a strip of thin nylon that outlines her genitals is going to draw the attention of a pervert.

Meaning, women can’t wear what they want. Because women are held to standards of accountability for their dress in ways men aren’t time and time again. It’s boring. If it offends you that much, move further away.

theeyeofdoe · 20/04/2024 23:15

Plenty in my gym too.

remember the seam stretches when you bend over to pick up weights. If you do have any and you don’t want everyone to have an intimate view of your arsehole…wear a longer top.

Nope. Still placing the responsibility on the child. Try again.

Ditto - I call them butt-shorts. I blame the Kardashians for that and lots of women doing exercises that make them look like dogs peeing presumably to get that 'two basketballs' effect bum.

I think the celeb industry is designed to dumb down society, and lower the standards of class and style, so young people think their aim in life is to be a talentless celeb, whose only ambition for their children is to sell them into the takentless celeb industry to use for their own attention. I know we have a lot of our own tacky tattoo necked celebs like Beckhams, but obecause so much of our media is linked with the USA, our media is full of USA trash like the Kardashians.

If a man wore leggings that highlighted his arsehole I'd say the same thing. Nothing to do with her being a woman.

This woman also has no idea of my thoughts on her yoga outfit and I would never say anything to her. But I can still comment on it on an anonymous forum. And she can continue to wear her anus leggings if she wants to.

CulturalNomad · 20/04/2024 23:18

Actually, in the case of a child I'm placing the responsibility on the parent(s).

I’m sorry you are delusional. They look utterly, utterly hideous. But maybe it’s not a middle class mum you are trying to impress?

I can't believe you actually wrote those words down. Ew. Middle class you say?

I just cannot get on board with these at all.
The women I see who wear these (school run etc) all have cracking arses and teeny waists and look bloody good in them. I would not. Not for me.

Iaskedyouthrice · 20/04/2024 23:25

They don't highlight the arsehole @Boombatty it's the whole crack. Top to bottom and right through to the front. Sorry but that needed correcting.

Boombatty · 20/04/2024 23:28

Well yes but when stretched during cat/cow I can assure you that the anus in question was most definitely highlighted!

I struggle to believe you see her actual anus to be honest 😂 so through her leggings and her pants you can see her actual anus?!

Do you think it’s Ok for adults who are responsible for children to allow them to wear sexualised clothing whose main purpose is to attract attention?

Boombatty · 20/04/2024 23:34

She can't have been wearing pants. The leggings were light grey. Maybe they were a cheap pair so thinner than they should be, I don't know. Poor woman probably had no idea either.

😁 yes, I can see why you would concentrate on the anus showing part of the leggings if there was one there right in front of you.

StormingNorman · 20/04/2024 23:37

I always feel like such a perv just glancing in the direction of someone wearing these 😂

And those Gym Shark leggings that magnify the vag 😂

ThrillhouseVanHouten · 20/04/2024 23:38

I waited decades for big bums to be fashionable - damn right I have a pair. I wear them to the gym and around the house, mostly for DP’s pleasure 🤣

Haha. Yeah, stop the yoga class and ask if anyone would like to swap places with you, as you don't want to be looking up at this lady's arse crack.

Unless they figure out some way to prosecute ogling then the pervy men that walk amongst us will indeed go Scot free.

As a parent I did as much as I could to prevent my underage child wearing clothing designed to be "sexy" or to draw attention to themselves in a sexual manner. Protecting children is what parents do.
