Loads of young women wear the legging version at my gym. They look amazing. I'd love to have the bottom to wear them but sadly I am old and have a flat arse.

These are nothing like the hotpants we used to wear in the 70s, which were basically short shorts, often with a bib.
They were usually of an unpleasant polyester construction and most definitely did not have the bum scrunch.

Weirdly I have just realised this is what some wear at the gym I go to. I had seen people with well defined bum cracks but hadn't realised it was the legging/short style.
Can't say I'm a fan but I'm 56 so no one wants to see me in them.

People aren't expressing opinions - they're expressing distaste and judgment at what other people wear, and also those people as individuals

Yep, was walking behind a woman in a nude pair of leggings yesterday. They were definitely scrunch bum leggings, let’s say.

I've seen several people wearing them. They didn't have the bum cheeks for them. Saw a teen girl wearing a pair on a family outing with parents and grandad. My mum would not have let me out of the house in them. If you have the arse they are intended for they are appalling. If you don't they are appalling.

Nothing like women to tear other women apart. Bad as men thinking women need to dress how it pleases you.
