I love the Siddiquis! They’re such nice genuine people. I also think Lee and Jenny are hilarious (Cher and the elephants clip anyone?!) I like Pete but Sophie does laugh at absolutely everything he says!

She is great. They seem to know each other really well.

I think they pick too many odd programmes, to get reactions. It’s a pity..

He came across as a bit of an old perve. I didn't take to him.

I like most of them but can’t stand Jenny any time she’s on now. Used to laugh at her years ago but she tries too hard now to act stupid and it comes across fake, scripted and attention seeking. Makes me cringe.

She and Lee play up for the cameras, I agree.

Just looked up Pete’s wife…she’s absolutely stunning! Good for him, he comes across really well and is v witty & funny

I love them all. Although I am upset by Sophie and Pete's mugs. They look horrible to drink out of - every week I consider sending them some nice bone china.

Just saw that Stephen and Daniel have announced their divorce today. They left Gogglebox because Stephen got offered Dancing on Ice, but ended up breaking his ankle about a week into rehearsals.

Not surprised they are divorcing, he was incredibly rude and disparaging to Daniel and at times it was uncomfortable to watch.

Except they're not ordinary people though. They are people whose lives and opinions are broadcast to millions on Friday nights. Those watching are allowed to have an opinion on that.

OP - My absolute faves are Pete and Sophie. Hands down the funniest. Closely followed by Jenny and Lee.

I haven't seen any of it for a good while (only ever saw little bits of it) but I always thought Pete was a smug horrible man. He thought himself so funny but really wasn't.

I never expected his wife to look like that

I’ve really gone off Jenny and Lee as Jenny’s ‘ditziness’ is so staged, just too much, really irritates me.

Also not a fan of the new ones, mum and son and the two ladies.

I really miss the two gay hairdressers (just seen today that they’re divorcing 😭) used to love them!

Yes, though Dave the Rottweiler died recently.
George Gilby died the other week in an accident at work and the husband of the woman who knits a lot (in Brighton) passed away as well.
I'm watching on catch up and am at 2017 I think. I watched one yesterday where Leon and June were talking about life, and love. And that's what life is about, love and generosity. (children's hospital was the programme they were watching)
It was beautiful ❤️

Have to say I also sometimes used to find Lee and Jenny difficult to watch because he is so awful to her. I know it's supposed to be all in jest but sheesh - I have never heard him say one positive thing about her, as if he is disgusted by her really. However, people I used to watch it with assured me it was all good fun and part of their friendship. I still think it's very one-sided but I guess it takes all sorts.
