Do you watch it?

Who do you like?

Who don’t you like?

Etc

I love Pete and his sister, both hilarious.
Giles & Mary are very funny too. Caravan friend's not for me, too obviously performative.

Sososal · 20/04/2024 09:55

I like all of them to be honest.

Giles and Mary are my favourites followed by the brother and sister. He is funny.

ThePoshUns · 20/04/2024 09:59

The Saddiqi's are my favourite, but I like all of them.
Such a good programme.

Remoteaccess · 20/04/2024 09:59

I love the Geordie girls (they don't have wildlife in Essex!) and Simon and Jane. Wasn't so keen on Marcus and Big Mich or Leon and June so don't miss them but so loved Mary and Marina. Marinas accent was just wonderful

ThePoshUns · 20/04/2024 10:01

Aaah Mary and Marina 😥

ItDoesntHaveToBeDave · 20/04/2024 10:10

The Malone's son is toe-curling. You can see his mum thinking "shut the f up" when he starts. So embarrassing.

Top - the Saddikis, Amari and Amani and Giles and Mary

PrincessFionaCharming · 20/04/2024 10:12

The Saddiquis are just so nice, aren’t they

Surprisedbuthappy · 20/04/2024 10:14

Aaah Mary and Marina 😥

Been waiting for some more Mary and Marina fans to show up! Weren't they just wonderful? I hope I have half their sense of fun and wickedness when I get to that age!

sammylady37 · 20/04/2024 10:16

Pete and Sophie make my skin crawl. They try way too hard.

Jenny and Lee for me. I grew up in Hull, so they make me feel nostalgic.

I like Amira and Amani and the lovely Sadiquis, too.

I grew up in Hull and I love Jenny and Lee too. They are so 'Hull' and we don't generally get much representation in the media!!

My other favourites are Amira and Amani.

BettyShagter · 19/04/2024 21:20

I love Jenny and Lee in the caravan.

They're hilarious!

I hate Lee's fake laugh. Once you notice you can't unsee 🙄

LlynTegid · 20/04/2024 10:41

Have seen the odd few minutes before The Last Leg is on.

I wonder how much is put on for the cameras.

Marbledleaves678 · 20/04/2024 10:43

I like the Siddiquis best of all.

Overall, I think it’s very optimistic tv, because whatever extreme programme is being shown, the people watching are generally too sensible to fall for the hype and they react with either cynicism or humour. It demonstrates that there’s still hope!

Willmafrockfit · 20/04/2024 11:02

they do have to put on for the cameras
they are told to, for eg, sing along, so you get clips of them all singing along or whatever

the siddiques are great. love them

Willmafrockfit · 20/04/2024 11:04

giles and mary are funny
the brother and sister are ok in small doses
the scottish couple are sometimes hard to understand
the vicar is now presenting on the radio isnt she and scarlett moffat has done very well

fridgegrazer · 20/04/2024 11:10

I used to always record and watch it but I stopped last year, so I think there are probably some people on it I don't know now. I used to like the Siddiquis, the Malones, Giles and Mary, Simon and Jane - oh lots of people. I do quite like Pete and Sophie but sometimes I have to say she gives me mean girl vibes - that could be just me though.

I really went off Stephen (he's left now). He was first on with his friend/ex partner Chris, then his Mum and finally his husband Daniel. I liked Chris and Daniel but Stephen thought he was a lot funnier than he actually was and could be quite mean - used to do impressions of people's accents etc. I was quite glad to hear he wasn't going to be in the next series, but then I stopped watching it anyway.

The reason I stopped was because of the choice of programmes they had to watch. It was either stuff I didn't like or watch so I didn't particularly want to see clips and opinions of them, or programmes I had recorded but not watched yet, so there would be loads of spoilers. I found myself fast forwarding loads of the programme anyway, so I decided it wasn't worth it.

Idontownanairfryer · 20/04/2024 11:12

Aww I like Giles, feel sorry for him!

@fridgegrazer i agree with the brighton couple
and the spoilers

Shaun Malone suffered brain damage after an infection when he was 15 years old. He's lucky to be alive. His Instagram reads "making brain damage cool since 2010"

Of course that still makes you free to find him annoying. Whilst this may or may not be widely known or 'obvious' to some, I do think this is sometimes the problem with asking "who do you like / not like" on a thread.

Like I said in my first post, don’t be an arse. Some people sadly are just arses anyway. They are not even ashamed to admit it.

Willmafrockfit · 20/04/2024 11:43

if he has significant brain damage do his family think its right and fair to appear in the show? are the malones the ones with the dogs?

Yes, though Dave the Rottweiler died recently.
George Gilby died the other week in an accident at work and the husband of the woman who knits a lot (in Brighton) passed away as well.
I'm watching on catch up and am at 2017 I think. I watched one yesterday where Leon and June were talking about life, and love. And that's what life is about, love and generosity. (children's hospital was the programme they were watching)
It was beautiful ❤️

Liquorish · 20/04/2024 12:32

I like most of them but can’t stand Jenny any time she’s on now. Used to laugh at her years ago but she tries too hard now to act stupid and it comes across fake, scripted and attention seeking. Makes me cringe.

walnutcoffeecake · 20/04/2024 12:36

I dont watch it i dont like it watching people watch TV But right now i have cbeebies on i live alone with no kids.
Its just for background noise really😆

SuzetteDeFarcey · 20/04/2024 13:07

Who is this Scottish family people are mentioning? I don’t recall a Scottish family currently.
