Neighbour problems

My neighbour came on to my property whilst I was away and put poison to stop bugs going to their property. I’m furious as I have pets. My husband thinks I’m overreacting. Aibu?

I guess they need to be told that whatever they put down must be on their side. You can say you realise they were trying to be helpful but it's dangerous for the pets. Could you find another more humane solution and tackle it together, if the bugs are still there?
