I don't know how it happened

Had one at 11am and liked it so much I had another.

One when walking the dog then another when I came back to warm me up with tea.

Two when watching a crap film, the repeat for Netflix

Then two must've jumped into my mouth

YABVU.

Once you consume 10 you may as well go for the dozen.

Half dozen and dozen should be the units of creme egg consumption.

Half dozen? Like the canapé option?

pinkhousesarebest · 26/03/2024 18:06

I ate two last Friday and woke up in the middle of the night feeling that my liver had failed.

I think the best thing to do would have been to have a massive salad. Then quarter of a mini egg

Yes because there is no middle ground is there - like three meals and maybe 2 or three crème eggs.

OP your choice what you eat but I would feel ill eating nothing but chocolate in a day (unless it’s Christmas Day obviously).

I do too but doesn’t stop me !

Cream Eggs are 💩. I can't even manage one...so yes YABU 😂

BebbanburgIsMine · 26/03/2024 18:24

I love Creme Eggs and could quite easily eat ten and more in one day.

I can't though, because I'm diabetic, I can have one on rare occasions though.

NerdWhoEatsMedlar · 26/03/2024 19:17

I really don't have a sweet tooth.
My take away from this thread is deep fried brussel sprouts. Thank you @SpringLobelia

I'm as high as a fuckin kite

Lol, enjoy the sugar rush xx

PyongyangKipperbang · 26/03/2024 20:15

YABU because they are horrible! I cant manage one.....but dont leave me alone in the house with a 6 pack of cheese and onion! I agree with trying to stabilise your blood sugar though, your crash will be horrible otherwise.

We ended up with some Creme Egg ice cream from a meal deal thing at the supermarket and even the kids wouldnt eat it, not even teen DS who's nickname is the Human Dustbin!

More or less all I ate. That and some plums. A very odd day

Its all about balance. And you had fruit. So you're fine

I'm fascinated by the people saying things like "I'd be covered in spots the next day" or "I'd be shitting forever after that" or even "I'd be throwing up"
Do people actually have physical reactions like this as a normal? Or are these people with undiagnosed allergies? Because in terms of volume in the stomach that's not enough in a day to cause vomiting. And causing spots must be an allergy?
I've never had reactions like this to food that wasn't bad or off or GIANT.
There was a few saying it would effect their mood too and they would feel low. Really? I'm not saying Chocolate is a pick up but I've never felt down or bad because of what I've eaten.
Genuinely fascinated here with these responses.

Side note, no I couldn't have done 10 cream eggs. Im not a fan. I like the inner egg bit but I don't like dairy milk chocolate in general so can't get past the outer layer. Lindtt ones and now we're talking 🤣

I can put away a lot of chocolate and cake but even one Creme egg would make me gag so yes, 10 would make me throw up for sure.

mrsbyers · 26/03/2024 22:16

They’re better frozen and last a lot longer

mdinbc · 26/03/2024 22:47

Gosh, I haven't had one for years. don't they sell them individually?

Lacyy · 26/03/2024 23:13

YABU as they aren't very nice, if it'd been mini eggs however... 😂

BreakingAndBroke · 26/03/2024 23:51

We all have the odd snaccident every now and then

XenoBitch · 26/03/2024 23:56

Love putting (cadbury) easter eggs in the freezer...tastes amazing after the satisfying snap as you break each piece off.

Bloody hell OP, I thought I could down a lot of chocolate but I feel a total amateur. Years ago I started a thread asking if I was BU for eating a terrys chocolate orange in one sitting. I can see now that I was just playing at it.

Is it not normal to eat a whole Terry’s chocolate orange in one go? Ooops! I always do! I found a mint one I’d hidden at Christmas (so no one else would eat it), and then forgotten about, just the other day and polished the whole thing off in one sitting. There’s no way you can just have a few segments, that’s not normal. The minty ones are delicious.

BigBoobaJimbeana · 01/04/2024 05:59

While I do love cream eggs, you should feel bad. These eggs COULD have one day hatched into a living being. But instead you chose to shirk your responsibilities and consume your children. Aborting them as Khronos did himself. Shame on you. Shame on your house. Please send me cream eggs because I could easily eat 10 in one sitting.

Well everyone I told after I’d eaten the whole thing, seemed shocked. Which is why I wondered. I had NO idea they did mint ones. That’s my other favourite chocolate combination - minty.

I hope everyone had a good chocolate input over Easter. I think age is starting to affect my chocolate capacity. I bought two of the Aldi chocolate bunnies (the biggest ones ), and couldn’t manage more than half in one sitting. I’m very shocked as I’d have got through the whole beast in one, a few years ago.
