To anybody else have this sock problem?!

I can literally never find a pair of socks! I constantly buy them and the kids just throw them off anywhere? please tell me I am not alone. DH said I have a huge issue with it and its appalling that I cannot manage it:(

Mine get chucked if they haven't found their friend within a month of hitting the odd sock pile! (Obviously time scales may vary 😂)

OP you have a 'D'H problem not a sock problem.

I've had this problem for as long as I've had children! The answer: buy socks of only one colour, just plain, no patterns = Sorted!

Buy all the same colour. Or stop worrying they don't match.

I now have a sock system, which I love.

Each family member has 30 identical socks in their own colour (mine=black, DH=gray, DS=navy, DD=white). Much easier to sort and put away, and never any odds. The kids still lose them, but their's are ASDA cheapest (£3 for 10), so I just top them up with a new pack every now and them.

What happens with matching them to clothes? What if your DD wears black it'll look odd with white socks.
