Don't complain about the state of the NHS and the lack of jobs in the same breath

One of the biggest issues the NHS faces is the lack of recruitment. So if you want a job, go get a job in the NHS, there are plenty, many of which can be done at entry level.
Sick of people complaining about the NHS but considering themselves above working for it.

YABU
I gave almost a decade to to the NHS. 3 different roles (and 2 were Band 1 at the time... very entry level but no progression as it was hotel services). Bullied every time. Last time ended with me very unwell and sectioned.

NHS as a service is great... as an employer... cunts.

But the reason it can’t recruit is because the pay and the working conditions are shit 🤷🏻‍♀️.

33 days leave plus bank holiday, flexible working option ( I worked a nine day fortnight when I worked full time) , generous sick pay ( I had 18 months off in a 2.5 year period and was paid in full for the whole time)
, decent pension …..free uniform….training opportunities ( nhs paid for my BSc hols degree and also for my post grad dip and subsequent MSc.
I took retirement at 57 on a good pension with a decent lump sum and returned back on a 2 day contract …..next year will ‘retire’ again and get a further pension , and then go on the bank and work as and when I feel like it…..no complaints from me
