Posters you still think about

Proof I probably spend too much time on here but does anyone else have posters they still think about every now and again?

Mine is the Australian poster whose son was in the abusive relationship and her many threads about helping him get out of the relationship and realizing she was toxic.

Can’t find the threads at all now but I hope her and her son are still doing well!

Does anyone else have stand out posters or threads that stick in their minds?

The lady posted not that long ago who was a shell. In northern Ireland with a controlling partner who basically raped her routinely because no wasn't an option in their marriage. She was desperate but he had her thinking up was down. So much encouragement and support but she faded out from her thread and, I expect, is still there judging by how far she seemed to be from feeling an escape was possible. 😞

I wonder about that woman with the controlling husband too. As, I see, do some other posters.

I didn't know there's someone currently posting about a similar situation. I wish her all the best.

The one I'm thinking of was called out many times for contradictions and inconsistencies but MN never did anything. Last thread I saw the baby was a few months old and her new bloke was predictably being useless.

@Nomchangebeaureau Yes I think it was Opheliarose. We had very similar threads going at the time with similar circumstances.

I remember these two as well. Such sad times. 😢

There was a poster with Lavender in her name. Came back from abroad away from her abusive husband. He wanted to sleep on her floor to see the children.

It was Riven. She was one of the first post to I noticed when I came on here. I have thought about her often.

I think the lemon drizzle cake thread was by someone called Marmalade Watkins.

That second one is five years left. I mentioned her up stream in this thread. She's lovely.

He wasn't smart in covering his tracks. The charity he fundraiser for no longer exists and never actually practiced. Whole strings of failed businesses and extra marital affairs. Near enough bankrupt. Lie after lie.

I never followed the threads but have read about it on reddit the whole thing was very strange.

Was it France she was in?

And I think there was another lady with Lavender in her name who’d been living in Dubai.

I had a few nice exchanges with the lady who’d been living and working in France and if her life took an awful turn I’d like to know how she is.

I’ve never forgotten OpheliaRose either and I hope life is treating her well. Some say she was a troll but I don’t believe that. The pain she was in emotionally jumped off the screen and could be felt. It was awful.
