Pasta is gross, I'll eat it but its not delicious as people make it out to be its cold slimy dough.

I find people who eat olives and avocados have very banal and dull personalities, and are trying to be something they're not by eating bland shit like olives and avocados. They think it makes them middle class if they eat 'fancy seafoods,' and 'adventurous vegetables.' 😂 They are also judgmental snobs who hilariously believe that they are better than other people, because of what they eat. 😆

Food snobs are irksome and arrogant.

Also, what the fuck is an adventurous vegetable @GreenAppleCrumble? A maris piper that goes skydiving? A scuba-diving sprout? A carrot that goes abseiling?

Most American chocolate is awful, they rave about Ghirardelli's but it's very average. We once visited the Hershey factory in, I think, Pennsylvania, the smell made me feel ill and the whole town near it stank too!

The proper use of the apostrophe really isn’t hard to learn.

Hearing people pronounce the name "Esmé" as "Es-me" (rather than Es-may) makes my teeth itch and just sounds really, really wrong to my ears. Very aware AIBU but can't help that it just sounds so WRONG (to me ;))

(Yes, if I ever meet someone called Esmé pronounced as Es-me I call them Es-me)

Well yeah, right. You don't have to have a 'childish palate' to think avocados and olives are minging, or to dislike seafood.

I also bet that poster was not referring to cod and chips from Stevo's chippy when she said seafood either. 😆 Nooooo, got to be the pretentious 'look how middle class I am' type seafood. I have heard of/known of a few films with an Esmé in though, and it's been pronounced as you say.. (Es-may.) Es-me sounds shite! 😖

Ooooh, I LOVE hearing stuff like this. I believe some of them. I mean, not EVERYone can be making it all up right?! And I have had several things happen in my life that cannot be explained scientifically. I won't say on here coz you'll all laugh at me. 😆

The palate of a genuinely ordinary, normal person, like we all are. No-one is childish if they don't like avocados and olives and posh seafood, OR banal and arrogant if they do. (I was just pissing about to try and make a point!!) 😆
