Hazel or Brown? Pic included

Ok really random, but are my eyes hazel or brown? Excuse my terrible lashes. Filling out a form and apparently the difference is significant, so I need to get it right lol

I have dark brown eyes, my daughter has light brown eyes and yours look nothing like ours. 🤷‍♀️

These are my eyes OP, which I think are a patchy green/brown mix.. which I believe is hazel.

what colour eyes do your parents have? I was reading that hazel usually comes from parents where one has blue eyes and the other has brown. My mums are blue and my dads are brown, my daughters are brown and my sons are blue so there might be some truth in it😂

I can explain your children's eyes exactly (it's all to do with dominant and recessive colour genes, where you are a carrier of the recessive but display the dominant) if you are interested

They look brown! Hazel eyes can look brown in the dark but greenish in the light. Mine are hazel for ref :)

Yours, like mine, are brown. My DD has hazel eyes, my son's are amber like the pale brown eyes above.

Your daughter’s eye colour is exactly like mine! Weirdly, I have one parent with brown eyes, one with blue eyes and one sibling with blue eyes too!

This is one of mine and I say I'm hazel - I have the brown ring, but grey/green/blue outer iris.

Yours aren’t Hazel either! They’re blue and just like my child’s. Although you said they’re from a stock photo?

Everyone’s eyes are different, that’s the beauty of them (literally everyone’s eye are beautiful and individual), post a photo of your own eyes if you are trying to decide if they are hazel as you can’t compare them with a photo.

I'd say these are green and OPs are hazel
