Hazel or Brown? Pic included

Ok really random, but are my eyes hazel or brown? Excuse my terrible lashes. Filling out a form and apparently the difference is significant, so I need to get it right lol

This is my eye, have always said I had brown eyes but now thinking they are hazel as definitely a green ring ?

Yours are hazel.

DD and I both have hazel - dark grey outer ring, green iris and then a ring of orange/brown before the pupil.

Some lights look more green, some look more brown.

DH also has hazel, but he has blue in place of our green.

They look like a nice nutty brown. Mine change depending on the weather, what I'm wearing, lol. Sometimes green, sometimes look more blue/grey.

@namechange1986 Lovely colour, but I would call that green? It's a lot like mine. But I guess it has the slightly browny/gold bit which I don't have.

I would say green not hazel

I've hazel eyes & in a certain light they look more brown yet other times they look green but mainly a mix of both in general. Yours so look more hazel though with the brown just more prominent than the green in them. Good luck finding out your true eye colour lol.

Strange, because they look too hazel to be brown - but too brown to be hazel @BrokenBonesStixStones They are not dark are they? Also, they look more 'hazel' in your second pic, but a bit more brownish in the first one.

Mine are blue, but sometimes look grey. It's odd. Yours are hazel-brown.

From the first pic I’d have said Hazel but from the second, brown.

It’s tricky because brown covers such a range - mine are very dark brown so I tend to look for a different colour name for lighter brown eyes like yours. But they’re both brown I guess!

I've found this really interesting as think your eyes are similar to my daughter's and never know whether they are brown or hazel. Mine are very definitely brown and my husband and other child's are very blue so not sure where her's come from.

My eyes are hazel but can sometimes look really green or really brown. They also have goldy yellow bits

I have hazel eyes but they're very obviously green at some times...if you asked people what colour my eyes are they would have trouble telling you!
