Green dettol does not work well as a mouthwash - I could taste it for days.

I no longer store dettol next to the mouthwash.

The ‘intimate feminine deodorant’ was Femfresh. Remember going to Paris with college back in the 70s and staying in a grotty hotel. There was a crack above our hand basin from which cockroaches kept emerging. The only thing that would repel them was Femfresh so God only knows what it did to your undercarriage!

This thread has reminded me of that wonderful review on Amazon from a man who tried Veet ( or something similar ) and wrote a few paragraphs describing the funniest episode ever of him and his experience of tidying his nethers

PS. Also be careful about using the tissue in your bag to wipe with if there is no toilet paper and you have a tendency to buy menthol and eucalyptus ones.

I once learnt the hard way (or rather a boyfriend did) not to eat Fishermen's Friend throat lozenges before performing an intimate act on him. 😬 🔥

Ha ha…..I feel your pain….. reminds me of using a loo in Malaysia and then finding no loo roll….scrabble in my bag yielded a couple of mosquito repellent wipes…..yes, well, and it lasted 24 hrs….

This reminded me of when my Dad reached for the wet toilet paper wipes and in his rush grabbed the Parazone cleaning wipes. Literal ring of fire!

Not quite the point of the thread, but I keep getting ads pop up for the Saltworks perfume tester kit.
How do you rate their products when sprayed on a more conventional part of your body?

I can remember using a vaginal deodorant spray years ago. It was very heavily marketed at the time.

It didn't sting, but I was told that it tasted foul.

I am reminded of the time we put a reed diffuser in the downstairs loo and the reed diffuser came into contact with the spare loo roll and the spare loo roll absorbed all the perfume oil from the diffuser and I didn't notice and wiped myself with it...

After the first line I expected this to go a completely different and more horrific way.

I would also like to offer some advice. Don't put Vicks Vaporub on your butt hole.

My son caught worms so I wormed us and read that they crawl out of your bum hole at night to lay eggs around the area and that when you take your underwear or PJs off in the morning you basically end up flicking these eggs all about the bedroom. It was suggested to put Vaseline around your bum hole at night so the eggs stick to that and thus you can simply wash them off the next morning reducing the risk of reinfection. Anywho I didn't have Vaseline and decided Vaporub would be a good substitute, it was not.

wait... NOT the orange perfume. I have never perfumed down there. And if I did, it would be something with a more spicy aroma...
