To ask your opinion on these chairs?

We ordered the table and chairs in the second photo, I had my heart set on chairs with knockers.
The correct table arrived but they send the chairs in the second photo accidentally.
They have offered to either replace the chairs with the ones we originally ordered within 10-14 days, or if we keep the chairs sent in error they will send us £120. Which do you prefer? Do you think the knocker chairs look smart?

If a criminal comes along can they knock and ask for sanctuary?

Kim Tate in Emmerdale (I think ) has had that style of chairs for years (knockers, that is). I always think how unattractive they look. First time I saw them was on Versace chairs way before he died, and they were really fancy and ornate, looked OK but the copies never really look right.

Is it just me or do the studs on the different chairs in pic 1 look really uneven? Could just be the photo

Triskelled no . .. but op asked which was best. Not to be told her taste was poor. She simply asked which of the two was the best.

She asked for our opinions on the chairs. She asked if the knocker chairs look smart.

Hideous and impractical - what if you drop food on them? I agree that you’ll be looking like travellers too. The ones without nipple piercings are less offensive.

I agree with this OP - I have never seen anything like these chairs in my life tbh. Amazed.

I much prefer the velvety back of the knocker chairs and would ask them to swap them. Nothing wrong with your taste, looks luxurious.

I think if you’re going to be spending £150 each on the chairs - about £900 all in - then you should get the ones you really want. They’re going to be on display in your house for the next 10 years so you should get something you can look at for a long time.

I don't like either of them, but the ones with knockers look daft and the knockers are completely pointless.

They've done you a favour the non knocker ones are marginally better than the ones you ordered

I prefer the ones without the knockers to be honest and they are lovely, But go for what you prefer and hope not waiting too long.

I feel the need to defend these poor chairs, lol. My friend has the knocker chairs. They actually look really nice in the ‘flesh’ and are comfy too.
