I’m appalled that anyone could even think this sort of behaviour was acceptable at any time, drunk or not, & I cannot believe 1% in MumsNet pol think it is!

14 weeks is acceptable jail time but he will probably only serve 7 & the £500 compensation is an utter joke!

He has humiliated the 72yr old cancer sufferer then spread that humiliating behaviour in a way that will haunt the elderly man for the rest of his life; as I am quite sure the video will continue to pop up & it will be everywhere if he passes because someone will have it saved!!

That's very true, I maybe didn't word it correctly, it was the immaturity and the stupidity I was highlighting.

His brother used to date Imogen Thomas and leaked a personal video of her. His brother is called Leighton (obviously a very imaginative family for naming their children). Leigh has a 14 year old child and her primary carer. According to reports he uses drugs recreationally alongside a drink problem. How social services aren't involved is beyond me.

As someone who lived there for years, worked there, still has family and friends there....that's a pretty accurate description! It's an absolute shithole of a town. The Brookfields used to own a number of businesses there years ago, not sure if they still do.

I've got loads of friends still living there....my Facebook feed was full of articles and comments about this bloke the other week. He was ripped to shreds on social media!
