Also reminds me of that man who held up and mocked a picture of a dead child during a football match. Some people really are scumbags.

Dotjones · 25/01/2024 14:59

He should have been jailed for seven years, not seven weeks. He'll be out in three and a half weeks. Let's just pray that the baby comes before he gets out so that he misses the birth.

I read the article and his partner is expecting his child. How to pick them, eh?

She'll be on her next complaining her partner's been sent to prison for a "little prank", absolutely vile, I pity the poor child.

Daleksatemyshed · 25/01/2024 15:02

He could have passed on an infection to a man whose already seriously ill. What an utter scumbag

BobbyBiscuits · 25/01/2024 15:02

I heard this a few weeks back. Totally shocked by his 'excuse'. I've never heard of men pissing on people on purpose for a laugh.
He will never work again as a DJ that's for sure. He would be wise to leave his local area and start a fresh with a new name as I doubt he will be accepted in his community anymore. Utterly vile.

Gymnopedie · 25/01/2024 15:05

It’s just something me and the boys do when we are drunk

That clearly reads like it's not the first time. And that he's not the only one - his big brave mates do the same.

I hope the outcry pushes the police into doing a bit more digging.

TheBayLady · 25/01/2024 15:07

He his the lowest of the low and i certainly don't think much of the woman that has chosen not only stay with but to allow him to be the father to her child.

For sure she'll be a mumsnetter 😉

Mojodojocasahaus · 25/01/2024 15:09

He’s a scumbag but like the two lads who held the pic up of Bradley at the football he’s lost his job, and he will be vilified in his community

Deathbyathousandcats · 25/01/2024 13:53

‘Part of the problem’?!
Are you related to this waste of skin?

Huh? Why on earth would you post that? The poster you quoted was pointing out that those who are now searching for the video to watch are themselves an issue because they are further hurting the victim enjoying being voyeurs to his torment. So the poster you quoted obviously is not on the side of this 'waste of skin'.

Ghentsummer · 25/01/2024 15:16

@Screwballs @Jumpingthruhoops do you really think it was acceptable for that poster to go and watch the video of the crime? If you had been this poor man would you want even more people watching your humiliation? She absolutely was watching it for 'shits and giggles' and did not need to see it to believe it because there has been a whole fucking court case about it where the bastard admitted it.

@NotQuiteNorma did you also have to watch the video Stephen Bear put online of Georgia Harrison having sex with him to believe that he had committed such a despicable crime?

They always seem to be

I'm betting he has a few children around the place too

GimmeSleep · 25/01/2024 15:22

That poor man, it's actually made me cry.
What vile excuse of a human being.

RiderofRohan · 25/01/2024 15:47

I hate these threads. Clearly someone from the guardian trying to drive the traffic in.

BrightYellowDaffodil · 25/01/2024 15:48

“It’s just something me and the boys do when we are drunk and until watching the video back I didn’t realise that the nice gentleman next to me was going through health problems.”

So he thinks the only problem with this despicable behaviour is that the victim was ill? It would have been fine if he'd been as fit as a fiddle?

What a cunt. I hope he has a horrible time in prison (and he probably will; prison has its own morals and woe betide anyone who the other prisoners take against).

BMW6 · 25/01/2024 15:50

I saw a git piss on the back of my sisters coat at Cheltenham Races many years ago.

I shouted at him and told her. He scarpered. Sis didn't believe me until she took her coat off and saw the moisture on the back.

I wish I'd hit him rather than shout.

People who look at the video are part of the problem. It gives them more hits which encourages the behaviour

To quote my previous response, get a grip FFS.

HTH 😉

mathanxiety · 25/01/2024 15:52

When you profer drunkenness as an apparently sincere excuse for appalling behaviour, you're saying two things:

1 - You get drunk a lot.

2 - You, your family, and your friends all accept heavy drinking. Drunkenness is part of your lifestyle and probably theirs too.

There is something seriously wrong with a culture that accepts habitual drunkenness.

According to the article, this sorry excuse for an adult has a partner who is expecting his baby. I would be interested to see her reaction to his behaviour.

RockStarship · 25/01/2024 15:57

What a disgusting man and I feel so sorry for his victim.

My ex used to do disgusting stuff like that- he found it hilarious telling me how him and his friends had once urinated on a homeless man in the middle of winter. He also urinated on a woman in a bar. Based on my experience with him, this vile behaviour wasn't in isolation from how he viewed and treated other people, particularly those closest to him.

Yerroblemom1923 · 25/01/2024 15:59

What is WRONG with people? How is this funny? I'd be seriously concerned if my dh and his mates thought this was an acceptable thing to do when drunk!
I just can't get my head around it.

whynotwhatknot · 25/01/2024 16:00

thats his defence is it

scum hope he doesnt get any work after

XelaM · 25/01/2024 16:03

This was a relatively private Snapchat video, that can mostly (or only?) be found online in 3rd party news clips... What you said would apply to Youtubers looking for attention, but in this case I think he actually finds it shameful to have his antics aired publicly. Not that I watched it cause I don't see the appeal either.
