Hopefully he won’t get any work.

That's why I watched the video rather than just blindly swallowing the sensationalist headlines. The man actually told him he had cancer first, he then said sorry to hear that mate and then pissed over him. Twice.

But apparently I'm part of the problem because I watched it. By that logic I'm also responsible for the demise of some of the victims of the post office scandal because I watched the documentary. I'm also responsible for the sinking of the Titanic because you've guessed it, I watched the movie..oh and the texas chainsaw massacre? Yep, that was me too!

The report was enough. The facts were there. You watched the video because you were in some way titillated, horrified or voyeuristic, and had to watch a man urinating upon a victim. Weird.

originalnamenot · 25/01/2024 17:31

I have tried to get my head round this vile behaviour and all I can come up with is I suppose it's like a humiliation ritual, one male dominating another by pissing on him, getting revenge maybe BUT why the feck would you pee on a random stranger let alone one who is seriously ill and has engaged you in polite conversation? And film it to entertain your degenerate lowlife mates?!

Peanutsnanna · 25/01/2024 17:37

What a despicable excuse of a human being. I hope he has a really hard time in prison and he gets the shit beaten out and of him (repeatedly).

BigFatLiar · 25/01/2024 17:39

Wouldn't say its normal but then it's not the first I've heard of.
A couple of young women (largish student population) peed on a homeless man in a doorway after a night in a club. They got told to behave and go home by the police.

allmyliesaretrue · 25/01/2024 17:42

Jumpingthruhoops · 25/01/2024 13:42

I disagree. Some things sound so unreal they have to be seen to be believed...

Why in the name of everything that's holy would you ever want to see something like this? It's utterly sick!

CactusMactus · 25/01/2024 14:50

Good god I hope he has to one day tell his unborn child why daddy went to prison...

Hopefully his partner is his ex by now, and will have the sense to make sure he never gets near enough for his child to ask him that question.

cruisebaba1 · 25/01/2024 17:26

Hopefully he won’t get any work.

unsurprisingly the guardian didn't post this part of the mitigation from his lawyer "He is on universal credit, with a disability element due to a long-term back issue"
so unable to work a full time job due to a back injury that magically doesn't stop him DJing (usually involves carrying heavy equipment) and going out on the piss.

Seriously what do scum like this add to society?

couiza · 25/01/2024 17:47

Nothing men can do surprises me anymore, many of them are just disgusting and violent. Road rage, street violence, sexual violence, domestic abuse, and this kind of thing by Brookfield and his mates. Mostly perpetrated by men. Ugh.

Anyway, the good thing is that he will not get an ESTA or visa to the USA to make it big there as a DJ. Hurrah.

  1. For the reason I just gave.
  2. I'm not religious

OMG. Confused It's like the surgeon who gave Peter Barlow a kidney transplant (on Corrie) and filmed himself throwing his kidney around like a ball, and laughing with his 'mates.' Not sure if it was the duff kidney or the new one, but still utterly vile and despicable behaviour. This bloke is no better. Should be struck off.

Edited

Struck off from what though? He's a DJ... Or did you mean the bloke on Corrie?

DriftingDora · 25/01/2024 17:59

HeadNorth · 25/01/2024 13:39

I read the article and his partner is expecting his child. How to pick them, eh?

Well, of course she's pregnant! The piece of scum probably hoped this might keep him out of prison - you can just hear the barrister "He is deeply remorseful, your Honour, and since learning he is to become a father...yada, yada, yada". Trying to defend that piece of shit would surely turn your stomach. The main thing wrong here is that he got off so lightly...should have been six months minimum and the compensation he's been ordered to pay's a joke also.

He's obviously not right in the head, however "drunk" he claims to have been, so good luck to girlfriend. She'll need it.

ThreeTreeHill · 25/01/2024 18:00

Everyday men find new ways to disgust me

I just can't imagine a group of 40yo men videoing themselves pissing on others for amusement? And thinking that anyone watching that video is going find it amusing rather than disgusting and shameful

He was never going to make it as DJ. He's a 40yo man who gets his rocks off on pissing on others, that's not a man with success in their future

peakygold · 25/01/2024 18:03

He said during his defence" It is something me and my mates do when we are drunk", so yes, it is 'a thing' for them, and it sounds like they have done it many times. This was probably the first time they filmed it though. Scumbags.

ThreeTreeHill · 25/01/2024 18:03

mathanxiety · 25/01/2024 15:52

When you profer drunkenness as an apparently sincere excuse for appalling behaviour, you're saying two things:

1 - You get drunk a lot.

2 - You, your family, and your friends all accept heavy drinking. Drunkenness is part of your lifestyle and probably theirs too.

There is something seriously wrong with a culture that accepts habitual drunkenness.

According to the article, this sorry excuse for an adult has a partner who is expecting his baby. I would be interested to see her reaction to his behaviour.

His main form of amusement is humiliating others. His morals are non existent. Whether he's a drunk is really by the by. I don't think he would be particularly upset by the insinuation he gets drunk a lot, bearing in mind he thought it was funny to piss on an elderly cancer patient

Atethehalloweenchocs · 25/01/2024 18:03

What a pig. That poor man.

Jumpingthruhoops · 25/01/2024 18:07

Ghentsummer · 25/01/2024 15:16

@Screwballs @Jumpingthruhoops do you really think it was acceptable for that poster to go and watch the video of the crime? If you had been this poor man would you want even more people watching your humiliation? She absolutely was watching it for 'shits and giggles' and did not need to see it to believe it because there has been a whole fucking court case about it where the bastard admitted it.

@NotQuiteNorma did you also have to watch the video Stephen Bear put online of Georgia Harrison having sex with him to believe that he had committed such a despicable crime?

What are you talking about?
Like I said, it seems so extraordinary that people need to see it to believe it, ie, understand in what context a person was able to urinate on someone because it just seems so 'out there'.

That's why people would NOT watch the SB and GH video, because people DO have sex, so they don't need to watch people doing it to understand the context.

PeppermintMandy · 25/01/2024 18:08

No. Just because one twat did it does not mean “pissing on cancer patients” is a thing 🙄

Lwrenagain · 25/01/2024 18:08

I hope he gets potted in prison.

(If you don't know what it is, it's a foul mixture of wee and poo kept left to stagnate then thrown on unsuspecting victim.)

misspositivepants · 25/01/2024 18:11

Disgusting vile person

BreatheAndFocus · 25/01/2024 18:14

Do all his mates really do this or did he just make that up as an excuse in an “everybody does it” way? If it was the latter, the idea that anyone might accept this as an excuse just shows how far removed from decent society he is, and if it’s the former, then that’s utterly pathetic. What depressingly immature fuckwits!

I feel so sorry for the victim.

IggOrEgg · 25/01/2024 18:15

Apparently there’s also a video going around of him trying to piss in his own mouth… you couldn’t make it up

Ghentsummer · 25/01/2024 18:20

Jumpingthruhoops · 25/01/2024 18:07

That's why people would NOT watch the SB and GH video, because people DO have sex, so they don't need to watch people doing it to understand the context.

Except its not about confirming if it actually happened, is it? Because there is a whole flipping court case to prove it happened. Nobody needs to go searching for that video at all.

People have sex but most don't covertly record it and stick it up on porn sites. So in this context it's looking for the recording to see if people can actually do something so despicable.
