I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

So far today:
Breakfast bread and butter with blackberry and apple jam
Cappuccino
Lunch is going to be some of the soup thing from last night with dumplings and the other half of the tin of lychees
Dinner is something with mince, but I'm not sure what yet.

MassageForLife · 26/01/2024 11:27

Yesterday I had

Breakfast- pain au chocolate
Lunch - homemade lentil soup with not homemade caremelised onion bread
Dinner - fried hake with veg and air fried chips
Snacks - leftover Christmas cake and some leftover celebrations

Today's breakfast was toasted caramelised onion bread
Lunch dinner and snacks will be similar to if not the same as yesterday. (There's two hake fillets in a pack, they were out of the freezer so needs to be eaten today, and I made four portions of soup).

BouleDeSuif · 26/01/2024 12:33

I need to add a packet of raspberry Jaffa cakes onto lunch, and take away the lychees. Worth it.

theruffles · 26/01/2024 12:44

Breakfast:
Banana & bagel with cream cheese
Coffee
Squash

Lunch:
Chicken & mayo sandwich
Raspberries
Sweet chilli lentil crisps
Coca cola

Snack: 3 x chocolate Digestives & another coffee

wellitywellness · 26/01/2024 13:36

This will be me for today - Friday and Saturday are a bit more 'treat night'.

Breakfast: Coffee with a dash of soy milk.

Lunch: Organic houmous topped with mixed seeds, with raw vegetables (mushrooms, carrot, radish, cucumber) - plus a sheet of nori and glug of apple cider vinegar.

Dinner: This recipe for peanut butter noodles (a Friday favourite) - but with added kim chi, edamame beans, avocado and chilli toppings.

Dessert: 2 x squares 100% dark chocolate from Cocoa Runners.

Snacks: Handful blueberries and blackberries.

Drinks: Genmaichai green tea and home made kefir water throughout the day. I'd normally have a couple of glasses of wine thisevening too, but currently doing Dry January, so will have to abstain...

Gochujang & Peanut Butter Udon With Peas, Greens & A Six-minute Egg Recipe | Waitrose & Partners

Use any sort of noodle you like in Elly Curshen's recipe, but chewy udon take some beating here.

@wellitywellness — Which bit is the treat that you wouldn’t normally have Sunday-Thursday? Is it the chocolate?

The lunch sounds yummy!! Dumb q, but when you say glue of apple cider vinegar, do you drink it neat? Or do you put a bit of it in the houmous?

Scirocco · 26/01/2024 16:21

Coffee.

Later, more coffee.

wellitywellness · 26/01/2024 16:35

@Wigtopia the wine - sadly off the table for tonight though... And also having noodles as opposed to something grain / legume based. And yes - neat glug before a meal.

BouleDeSuif · 26/01/2024 16:39

I need to add a big mug of cocoa, some Aldi Moser Roth blonde chocolate and a banana.

Wigtopia · 26/01/2024 16:39

@wellitywellness Never had it on its own but will give it a try some time!!! Thanks for explaining 😊

catelynjane · 26/01/2024 16:47

Today, so far:

Peanut butter on toast, apple and mango juice, coffee.
Dark chocolate and raspberry cereal bar
Apple and sultana hot cross bun
Handful of dried apple slices

No idea what I'll have for dinner. DH has had soup and a sandwich but I can't eat this early without being absolutely starving by bedtime.

TheFTrain · 26/01/2024 17:14

A Bang Bang Prawn Poke Bowl from M&S
2 slices of focaccia with cream cheese
1 large square of chocolate
1 black coffee, 1 oat milk cappuccino
Lots of water
I'll also have roast chicken and salad for dinner tonight

LaChienneDesFromages · 26/01/2024 18:12

In contrast to yesterday’s fresh and healthy meals, today I’ve come down with ‘flu and have managed:

Two pieces of buttered wangy toast
About three hundred cups of very weak tea
Paracetamol/Ibuprofen

I’m writing this as the last dose of paracetamol just kicked in, and I’m between poorly person naps.

Tomorrow, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for cold red coke and Heinz tomato soup. The elixir of the poorly English lady (actually, my mum’s French and I really want a carton of tomate et vermicelles, Lord knows where she found that in eighties Norwich, but needs must.)

Mimikyuu · 26/01/2024 18:13

2 protein shakes and a chicken salad.

on the LRD diet :(

Alloveragain3 · 26/01/2024 18:18

2 x coffees

A crappy supermarket caesar salad that had about 2 pieces of chicken in it (must make my own in future)

Hunk of smoked cheese
Bite of cucumber
Toast with avocado and salt and splash of lemon

Home made vanilla donut with a square of vegan chocolate

Spicy butternut squash soup and brown bread

May have a raw carrot later and some seaweed crisps...

BouleDeSuif · 26/01/2024 18:22

Right I need to add a bowl of tapioca, the lychees I didn't eat at lunch, a fish finger and some of the child's chips.

ivfbabymomma1 · 26/01/2024 18:23

Today has been a bad day!!

Protein shake
Brunch bar
Cheese & onion roll
Doughnut
Pizza & arrancini balls
Lots of popcorn
Wine
Chocolate for later......

DollyTubb · 26/01/2024 18:32

I need to have a low fat/salt diet so my day has been;
Breakfast - low fat muller rice pudding (the plain one, my absolute fave!)
Lunch: bowl of bran flakes and skimmed milk & blueberries.
Snack: pear
Tea: low fat mince chilli with basmati rice. Followed by home made cottage cheese and yogurt 'cheesecake' and blackcurrants (the last of the homegrown ones)
Endless builders tea with semi skimmed milk and Vimto.

No alcohol today. We had tea at 5.30 and won't eat again until tomorrow breakfast.

BusyCaz · 26/01/2024 19:00

4 black decaff coffees no sugar
1 mug of tea milk no sugar
bottle of zero beer mixed with diet tonic water (im weird)

fuel chocolate porridge late breakfast

charlie binghams macaroni cheese with handful of oven chips
mixed salad of radish pepper tomatoes celery dash of low cal house dressing

so far so good but probably a bottle of wine later

Kim82 · 26/01/2024 19:12

Today I have had 2 cups of tea
A banana
Another 2 cups of tea
Turkey salad roll (wholemeal) from the sandwich shop near work
Cup of tea (I drink lots of tea when in the office)
Home made lasagne and salad
Pint of sugar free vimto
About 1 litre of water

There’s very little left in the house as the food shop comes tomorrow morning so I might have some sorry looking grapes later or the last satsuma if I get peckish, or maybe an Options hot chocolate instead.

Underthesea65 · 26/01/2024 19:17
