To ask what you have eaten today? (lighthearted)

I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Today so far:

Yoghurt
A mini bagel with cheese and turkey, coleslaw on the side
3 cups of tea with milk

No idea what I'll have for dinner. DH is cooking today. Possibly steak? Or maybe salmon.

Today I’ve had a protein bar, a banana, a protein shake and then someone gave me a protein pudding, so way too much protein products!

Dinner will be chicken shawarma with salad and rice.

I like these threads because a lot of mumsnet seems to me to be quite restrictive & judgemental about food- I would say bordering on orthorexia. We all know it’s important to have a balanced diet but most of us do end up eating some processed food. It’s the real world 🤷🏻‍♀️.

My food today:

Breakfast: Coffee with oat milk
White sourdough with peanut butter & banana. Half a pitta with marmite.

Lunch: Leon Thai chicken curry (not my favourite of their meal boxes).

Capuccino & half a millionaire shortbread (it wasn’t that great).

Dinner: veggie sausages, roast potatoes & broccoli.

Cups of tea & will probably have something else sweet!

Porridge with seeds (fibre my dears), and protein powder + maple syrup.

Half a pack of fruit pastille jellies.

Just now, a warmed up scone with real butter and raspberry jam (seedless).

Prob scoff lots of crap now that I've failed to make any dinner yet. I live alone and am good most of the time, but can fail miserably too. Ah well.

I ear far too much rubbish...
Breakfast - microwave porridge with golden syrup & strawberries.
Lunch Ham & cucumber sandwich, crisps & a fruit pot (grapes, apple, plum, nectarine)

Dinner tonight is homemade chili on baked potato.

But I have to have my lunch early so I'm always starving on my journey home, I've eaten a handful of chocolate malted milk biscuits (kept in the car) a chocolate cereal bar, then two toasted hot cross buns when I got home and will probably be eating chocolate all evening!

I've been short on £ this week so eating only what is already in the freezer/cupboards.
Today was Weetabix. At 11am and 3pm. Tea will be potato waffles, poached egg, beans and ham. Am paid tomorrow, thank gawd!

I love these threads as well.

Breakfast was a boiled egg with two slices of toast and butter and a glass of orange juice. And a black coffee.

Lunch was two slices of toast with pate, salad, a yoghurt and a banana.

I had a kitkat and a cuppa mid afternoon.

Dinner will be homemade lamb curry (from the freezer) with rice and those amazing frozen parathas. I really fancy a glass of wine as well, but don't have any in the house so need to make a decision as to whether to pop out or not.

Very rubbish day food wise:

Bagel thin with marmite for breakfast
Nandos kids chicken breat with broccoli and corn.
Bagel thin pizza for tea with peppers, onions and tomatoes.
One of ds's fairy cakes
About 4 coffees, no wonder I'm so tired!

Viennese biscuity thing

Tea, lots and lots of tea.
Fizzy water.

Going to have cold pasta salad and fruit salad shortly.

B: Toast and peanut butter and banana for breakfast
L: Left over pizza from last night - now it's gone I've had my fill
D: Not had it yet, but it will be pasta with a roasted pepper sauce, and some chicken and broccoli to make up for two days of being an absolute loser (but it was worth it!)

1 cup of coffee - black with sweetner

grapes and kiwi fruit with apple skyr

carrot and swede mash
Broccoli and cauliflower
2 eggs fried with one cal spray.

I saw three friends separately with my 3 year old and 3 month old in tow for walks today and I'm breastfeeding to boot so I was hungry as you can tell 😅.

Pre menstrual, on deadline, and slightly hungover so absolutely ravenous today

Bowl of porridge with honey
slice of bread and marmite
little bit of leftover curry from the fridge
half a can of scotch broth, slice toast
3 squares vegan dark chocolate
bag of crisps that i found in my bag (bonus!)
haggis, neeps and tatties, kale

oh and the uneaten breadstick and homemade hummus out of DS’ lunchbox

i think i had a rice cake at some point

if I’d had more protein at breakfast the rest of the day would have gone better I think

Dinner: butter chicken, pilau rice, paneer green curry, tarka dahl (first attempt at a homemade curry!) with (supermarket) garlic naan & mango chutney. Tasted great and we've loads left for another day - I'm soooo full 😁

Today it was..

breakfast - porridge with honey and blueberries, cup of coffee

lunch - rye bread and butter with a handful of cheese puffs, cup of coffee

afternoon snack - sugar doughnut, more coffee (eek!!!)

dinner - mash potatoes, broccoli, peas and some sort of vegetarian version of a meat ball.

pretty tasty all in all, but clearly I need to ease up on the coffee!!

Shredded wheat and a banana, a hot cross bun, wish they wouldn’t sell them so early ! Cottage cheese tomatoes and crackers for lunch. Beans on toast and an orange ice lolly.
I’ve just opened a pack of sugar free m and s mini wafers their very moorish.

B- Gf toast just with butter
L- Gf roll with cheese and pickle
D- half a dozen chips
3 cups of decaf tea, 1 latte, 1 Lucozade sport
Because I'm an idiot I also ate a couple of chocolate raisins after lunch and they've made me feel dreadful so now I don't want to eat anything. Screw you IBS Sad

Lunch - scrambled eggs

Dinner - pasta and chicken and peas and sweetcorn with veg stock cube and cream

Greek yoghurt, banana, flaxseeds/chia seeds, sprinkle of granola and oats
roasted mix veg, halloumi,fried egg and kimchi salad (tastes nicer than it sounds)with small slice of toast
Tea w Homemade peanut butter cup, mini pack of buttons and 2 spoons of Nutella

lunch, houmous crackers , raspberries, Frazzles
dinner meat free sausage in a brioche bun, a kiwi, malteasers
