He has a few pages. The dog was rehomed from England and I will stand by my earlier posts, if people couldn’t keep their dogs due to the new regulations or rehome them with someone they knew, they shouldn’t have sent them to Scotland. Many “hero’s” were collecting these dogs from homes in England and transporting them to homes in Scotland - all done through ‘rescues’ who hadn’t done home checks. This dog ended in up in a shit hole of a flat and had been rehomed with someone who had already abused animals. The dog was put on FB for sale before Christmas (although it had only arrived in Scotland in November).
Anyone who rehomes a dog not having done home checks on where it’s going is equally to blame for this imo. Scotland is not a safe haven for these dogs, God knows what people thought sending them up here - did they expect them to be roaming free on the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond all playing in XL Bully heaven? We already have enough of them up here and now Scotland is literally being flooded with them.
I’m not a fan of the breed, in fact I’d be more than happy to see similar regulations up here on keeping them but there is no excuse for animal abuse. Whoever sent that dog up here needs to shoulder some of the blame for this. This will be the first of many incidents in Scotland due to feckless owners trying to save dogs they bought and couldn’t cope with the new regulations.
