Of course these things should be euthanised humanely, as long as veterinary surgeons are not put at risk in doing so. The more the merrier. And I say that as an experienced, responsible dog owner, not a typical MN dog hater.

Exactly. A lot of the so called rescues that were bringing these dogs up to Scotland for rehoming had no idea who they were going to. No home checks or anything were done.

His name is all over social media, he’s already been in jail because of animal abuse before as well.

There is no ban. Owners of this breed have to follow the few simple steps that have been put in place.

Thanks. I also wasn’t sure whether the vigilantes had attacked him because he’d harmed the dog, or because they didn’t want an XL bully in their building. I could see it being either, to be honest, wonder if there are communities where people will put pressure on others to get rid of their new dogs.

You can dislike those dogs (who were created by and let down by humans) as much as you like but if you’re seriously celebrating an animal being tortured to death you need help.

There was a Pit Bull called Ollie who was tortured with knives in USA.
