When do school's go back, generally

Ours is the 8th

3rd and 4th here

Depends where you are, we are back on teacher DH is back on the 2nd for INSET, kids are back on the 3rd.

3rd in Bristol. We broke up 15th.

it depends when they broke up. So generally either this week or next.

Ours broke up 22nd and back the 8th

8th. Scotland here so tomorrow is still a holiday. Broke up at 12 on 22/12.

Some this week, some next. It depends on when they broke up.

Broke up 20th, back on 8th here, as they've made the 3rd, 4th and 5th INSET days.

Broke up on the 21st back on the 4th

Most here broke up between 20th-22nd and all seem to be back this week on the 3rd or 4th although there's two locally that are back tomorrow.

Tomorrow (2nd) and we’re in Hants. No one is very pleased about this

We're back on the 15th. :) Usually like that because it means we can have a cheaper break somewhere when everyone else is back at school. Not happening this year, though, so just pottering about at home.

8th Jan (London). We broke up on the 19th.

We are 2nd too for two of mine and 3rd because of an inset for the other. We did break on the 15th so I guess it stands to reason but it’s not great. The two that are back on the 2nd then have a random inset in the middle of January to frankly the whole thing is a colossal pain.

It was a a mammoth term but at least by the end it’s all school plays, assemblies and Christmas excitement.

I would take that term being longer and going back later after Christmas any day.

9th (8th is an inset day)broke up on the 22nd - East Midlands

3 children (3 different schools) broke up on 15th and go back 2nd.
1 child broke up 15th goes back the 8th.
