To ask them to be quiet even though it's NYE

Next door are making so much noise that I can hear them through 3 rooms. Live in a flat. I know it's new years but AIBU to knock on and ask them to be quiet please? With all the fireworks making so much noise too, I just want to go to sleep.

Who made you in charge of what constitutes fun? None of those things are fun.

It makes zero sense for you to want to go round to their door at 00:07 on New Years Day because you want to sleep and don’t own any basic items that could assist with this, yet are still whining on the thread after 1am 😆
