To ask if you think I’ve just been scammed?

I think I have and I feel sooo stupid.

I followed an Instagram as for the Space Nk 2023 advent calendar advertised as now being 45.99. Website looked like the Space NK website. I ordered and paid.

My receipt to my email said the payment would appear as to ‘leggingsoutlet’ svuch seemed very odd. I checked the website again and it’s Soace NK outlet not actual Space NK.

I’ve been scammed haven’t I?

I got a refund too! Messaged them and told them it was a scam and my bank were going to conduct an investigation. Refund arrived within 3 days. So glad they didn’t get any money from me! Everyone should do the same!

I got a refund too. Which is great but I am still nervous they have my details. I got a weird random text from someone in Indonesia this week. The main purpose of the scam might be to get your details with the money being an added bonus…

How long did it take? I’ve messaged 3 times since last week and had nothing back

It was about a week to get a refund.

Don't feel bad. Sophisticated little bxxxxx they are. Doing a scam now with pet food Zooplus. That's why Zooplus are getting loads of negative reviews.

I think so it happened to my mum as well so don't feel bad the scammer are clever and we all make mistakes. Do contact your bank right away!

I did get my refund but I have already had a noticeable increase in scam messages to my phone number since. Be careful what you click on in any text messages you get! One was from Microsoft saying my email had been accessed in America. It looked very convincing.

I messaged on Thursday after seeing people say they had got refunds and said I hadn’t received my goods, I believed it to be a scam site and that I was going to report to trading standards and my bank, Friday I got an email to say I’d be getting a refund and I received it today (Saturday) I’m amazed I’ve got it back but happy. So if you haven’t already send them an email! Xx

That actually was the correct email address. Thank you for sharing! For anyone else that needs it, just check the email address from the dispatch email. That’s the one I used. At first they didn’t want to give me a refund but today I received an email to say it’s being processed. So just need to wait and see now

What are they playing at do you think? Why would you go to all the trouble of seeing up a scam website just to refund everyone? So odd 🤔

After sending several messages requesting my refund & threatening to report them as a a scam site, I've been refunded by Leggingsretailoutlet. I'm really surprised.

Pleased to have my money back but I've learned my lesson & will never click on an Instagram or Facebook ad again.

I'm still waiting after receiving that reply above. How long did everyone wait?

As someone else has said, probably to sell email address and phone numbers to more scammers

After them confirming I'm getting a refund, I never did get it and now I'm being ignored!

I just saw the ad today, had a moment of excitement and then remembered about this thread!

Instagram needs to do better, I will report it.

I reported this to Insta after seeing it again last week and they said they wouldn’t take it down.
