To see a medium

My lovely Dad died just before Christmas. Many years ago Dad and I promised one another that whichever one of us died first, that person would come back and visit the living one and make him/herself known.

It's been going on a week now, and "no word" from Dad. I was wondering if I should go and seek help from a medium, or spiritual advisor as they are apparently called.

If a friend was asking me if they should do this I'd probably say I think you're insane and wasting your money... but now I'm in this situation, I'd give anything to receive a message from Dad.

Could it possibly be real?

Don't see a medium. They will just tell you what you want to hear.

I'm sorry for your loss. I believe in mediums but I also know there are a lot of charlatans out there. I lost my dad in 2020 it's very difficult

What I will say is this - when a person who had passed over comes and makes themselves known it is perhaps not what or how you are expecting. It isn't concrete. There are a few good books which I'd happily recommend if you are interested.

Not long after my mother died I was watching a sad film, as I sat there thinking about her & wondered was she OK, was she happy …. Then someone in the film said “Your mother’s fine now so stop worrying”. I know, I know, but it was something I needed to hear. There have been many incidents like this, maybe a coincidence, but they made me feel like my mom was still around.

They say that the dead communicate in many ways, you just have to look & listen. It helps me anyway.

Edited

Synchronicity is a very "accessible" way for us to connect and receive answers to our questions, and it happens all the time! Not just with the dead but our spirit guides too (or whoever is helping us from above 🙂). Because most of us aren't mediumistic, they find other tools in our physical environment to give us comfort and answers.

Why on earth would I help YOU? I am bowing out now out of respect for OP. I suggest you do the same.'

Kinda nasty. Why would you not help somebody truly, if you are a medium and it is real? As I posted earlier, I like many others have lost somebody, I have screamed out for a sign that the person love is still out there, in some form. There are no signs. They are gone.
