To feel queasy every time MIL says...

We drink alternative milk in our house as we prefer the taste. The kids drink oat, almond and soya milk when at home and don't know any different.

When we are at MIL's house, she always offers the kids a glass of cows milk (not sure why) and she calls it "granny's milk".

AIBU to feel queasy every time she says "Who wants some of Granny's milk?" 😅(Can't find a vomit emoji)

Oh my goodness , this thread is still making me 😂 laugh- It is the imagery it conjures up.

Have just popped in to Tesco for CoffeeMate- rammed with artificial chemicals- but so creamy.
I got addicted to it when camping- but the price!
Need a Granny on tap instead 😂

Maybe she would she see the funny side if you told her what it brings to your mind and then change it to “cows milk”. I’m prob bout same age as your MIL and would roar with laughter if DIL said that to me and of course change my wording.

😆😆😆😆 just to clarify almonds are nuts, anything pressed or squeezed from nuts I call nut juice not milk!! So please don’t go round asking for daddy’s nut juice 😆😆😆 just laugh when someone asks for almond milk! It’s not milk it’s nit juice!!!

Lol me too, because it is ‘mums milk’ to them lol I find this whole thing funny as in hilarious but my nd brain is saying, “but it is her milk it’s granny’s milk !!!!” 😆🤣
