Tell me about yours! I bought a pack of 9 mini mince pies £3 (I think) from M&S - they were delish!!!!!!

A colleague brought in the Sainsbury's 'Finest' ones the other day. They had just the right amount of brandy and crunchy fruit in. They really were very, very tasty.
I'm not normally a Sainsbury's fan but would recommend.

Aldi's extra special ones are great and Greggs are nice too. I love a good mince pie

MissyB1 · 03/12/2023 14:00

M&S classic mince pies in a sort of red & beige box are my all time favourites - if they ever stop doing them I will cry!

Apparently Iceland ones are amazing though.

BigMamaFratelli · 03/12/2023 14:01

I bought the Waitrose ones and dd said they were really lovely. I haven't had one yet but she's a mince pie aficionado so I trust her judgement!

mrsbyers · 03/12/2023 14:01

I haven’t seen as many different varieties as last year yet but the Lidl salted caramel crumble ones are delicious

MissyB1 · 03/12/2023 14:02

These are the ones - the absolute business!

The M&S Collection ones are lovely. Don’t bother with the Waitrose posh cognac ones.

milkydress · 03/12/2023 14:04

@Porridgeislife totally agree

The ones they bake in store in morrisons! Yumyumyumyumyum!!

jemenfous37 · 03/12/2023 14:21

@JMSA Crunchy fruit? Which fruit is crunchy? What am I doing wrong?! 😄

LubaLuca · 03/12/2023 14:23

We're doing a proper taste test this year. Top of our list so far is M&S Collection, bottom is Greggs (with Booths a close contender for bottom spot 😮).

madeinmanc · 03/12/2023 14:23

I had Tesco Finest and they weren't good, the pastry was undercooked. Of course, they were still edible because how bad can it really be?

Lovebeingamummy2 · 03/12/2023 14:23

Gregg's have to be my favorite ones that I've tried so far

Artichoke88 · 03/12/2023 14:24

Greggs

FreshWinterMorning · 03/12/2023 14:24

ALDI. Better than M & S and Waitrose, and cheaper!

We didn't rate these because the fruit was weirdly crunchy, and the mincemeat was too dry.

JanetandJohn500 · 03/12/2023 14:27

We like the iced mince pies. It's like a toss between a mince pie and a cherry Bakewell 😍

Puzzledandpissedoff · 03/12/2023 14:32

Iceland, believe it or not
Their luxury version all butter mince pies won a taste test 3 years ago, so I bought a pack not really expecting that much and they've ruined me for anything else

QAnoun · 03/12/2023 14:33

M&S Collection are lovely.

Diplidocus4 · 03/12/2023 14:35

Masterchef winner Eddie does mince pies reviews on his social media !
I don't like mince pies though .

bobotothegogo · 03/12/2023 14:36

Just tried the m&s brown butter ones and are they were A-MAZ-ING!

DarkAcademia · 03/12/2023 14:36

Eating a M&S collection one now as we speak! I like them, but they’re a tiny bit too sweet.

SabbatWheel · 03/12/2023 14:38

Asda Sloe Gin ones were epic, but it looks like they’re doing a butter and rum version this year- still to try.
