We're all poorer than we were before the referendum. Unless you're a hedge fund manager or Tory donor, of course, then you're raking it in...

The reality is that our welfare system is too generous. Hunt should have raised the limit before income tax is payable and reduced benefits so that more unemployed people get a job, even if it means being a carer or picking fruit.

Despite rumours to the contrary it is actually perfectly legal to enter the UK by boat, small or large from France, in fact I have done it myself a number of times.

It was super obvious to me (and people with actual intelligence) this would happen due to labour shortages.

In the interests of factual accuracy I would like to point out that the following European countries had more net migrants per 1000 of the population than the UK in 2022. Luxemburg, Cyprus, San Marino, Malta, Leichtenstein, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Norway and Ireland.

Also in many of those countries migrants recieve greater benefits than they do in the UK.
