To put up a Christmas Tree tonight?

I just made a miserable AIBU so here's a less heavy one:

I really want to put uo the tree because it's pretty :,) is it too early?
(It's fake, 7foot and has fake now and berries 0<0)

Absolutely not too early. Do it and cheer yourself up. I need to buy one soon. I might tomorrow. I’m depressed so anything might help

I put mine up last weekend so no it's not too early. If it makes you happy then do it.

Do it, we’re doing ours soon, I always think it’s a lot of effort to put up for a small amount of time so do it early if you want to 😊

Do it! I’ve been watching (terrible) Christmas films for the past 2 weeks and am desperate to get the tree out but DH birthday is start of December, and as a kid he always had
to share birthday with Christmas so I always wait until after his birthday on Dec 2nd to decorate. If not for that I’d have mine up now as well!!

i love the run up to Christmas more than the day itself and I take my decorations down on new year eve so want to make the most of the pre Christmas experience

My birthday is on the 5th Dec! But i don't do much for it anymore so I don't count it. (Also being preg - no alcohol)

I'm going to convince my DH to help me put it up hehe

I put mine up today. Going away on Monday for a few weeks and wanted it done for when I get back. Do whatever makes you happy.

Ours is still up from last year. The kids begged, and it's cheerful.

It will still be fabulous until the 12th night!

I was going to wait but see a lot have gone up in the last week so I shall be doing it tomorrow. Can't wait.

Ours has been up and decorated for 2 weeks now. It is a marathon though as DH believes it's not complete unless there's at least 3 decorations on each and every branch (stems from childhood when his parents couldn't afford much) We haven't switched it on yet though!
