Nigel Farage in IACGMOOH anyone else not watching this year because he's in it??

I'm not going to watch, vote or engage with their social media. I plan to turn my back the same way he did to teenage musicians. I nothing would make me happier than seeing IACGMOFH veiwing figures collaps because of him.

So, AIBU or not?

Everyone is going to keep mistaking him for a native lizard.

I did watch it, it’s my guilty pleasure, but agree entirely re Boy George, he’s just vile. I can’t understand why someone who has this conviction is still on chat shows etc. Just imagine if his victim had been female.

I also saw he was exempt from any trials. Supposedly due to an old injury but obviously because it was known he would be voted to do all of them. Can't see the point in inviting him.to be a contestant if he can't fully participate.

People will vote for him to do every trial (except the ones he's exempt from) and that's exactly what he wants and is expecting. It's playing right into his hands. If you don't like him ignore him. He wants the airtime.

Frankly I am hoping one (or several) of the other contestants will have the guts to tell him to his face that he is a racist, xenophobic, entitled, waste of space who helped destroy this country by promoting Brexit and fuelling hate and division....

Apart from that I think it is disgusting that ITV gave that man so much money and a platform for his views.

I won't be watching this year anyway because of him.

Hancock is equally vile but at least he took on all the challenges with grit and determination. I have a feeling Farage will do the opposite: doing everything he can to avoid having to do anything/any work and whining endlessly about being picked on...

I shall watch as I always do, if I didn't usually watch it I wouldn't, I like to see a variety of people on it like I do on Strictly, people are moaning and refusing to watch that too because of the professional dancer in it. People just like to fuss about things so they can post online and moan

How can he be exempt from trials? Isn't that what the show's all about?
To be fair- difficult though I find it-he was in a near fatal light aircraft crash a while ago-he may have physical limitations from that.....

They said last year though that Matt Hancock might be exempt because of trenchfoot, he wasn't. There is a picture of NF doing a trial on the front of a couple of the papers today

Agreed. Only here and in the Guardian do people seem to think otherwise.

Cancelling people won't mean they and their views won't exist even if it makes the canceller feel righteous.

Would much rather watch Farage this year than ever have to watch that creature Hancock again. His policies directly contributed to deaths during Covid - yet he was being hailed a hero. Made me feel quite ill.

I won't be watching it and never did, but I wouldn't watch anything with a man who is practically a fascist.

I'm not as enthusiastic about the programme as I was a few years back, to me it has become stale but I will watch bits of it. Farage being contestant would not put me off, though I detest his politics. He's controversial and can be entertaining. However, regardless of whether we give the man air time or not, he will get his hefty fee.

I didn't watch it when Barrymore was on. I watched some of Boy George on it but not all. I gave up watching when Hancock was on because he disgusts me.

I'm not watching any of it this year because Farage makes me heave just to look at him.

Both Boy George and Matt Hancock,were on it last year at the same time....

I think he's coming across quite well. Don't like his politics but doesn't mean I have to hate the man.
