NIGEL FARAGE ON GB NEWS - WTF???

GB 'News' - when did this start? It's not even news - there's no on the scene reporters. Just dubious characters and selected commentators spewing xenophobic shite.

When all other news channels were reporting the developing situation in Gaza this week, all GB News we're doing was attempting to stir up outrage about today's Pro-Palestinian March.

I couldn't believe what I saw. Farage has his own show to spew his poisonous divisive diatribe. He was showing some random photo of some (white, middle-aged) poppy sellers outside a tube station. There were people from last weekend's Palestinian support march coming out if the tube station. Some had children. Some were non-white (as in any London street). All just walking - nothing to remark about. Farage was saying the photo was definitive evidence that immigration has gone too far and we have brought in too many people "who don't share British values." Wtf! Most if the people in the photo are probably as British as him! Farage is despicable and his language is that of hate and division. I can't believe he gets away with it.

I can only assume Suella Braverman is auditioning for GB News, given her pathetic attempts to incite division this week.

The BBC is every bit as biased. It’s basically a propaganda unit for sneering Oxbridge liberals. And btw OP, it’s perfectly reasonable to be concerned about mass immigration. Net immigration last year was 600,000. That is the population of Manchester. Where I live, in rural Essex, the traffic is so bad I hardly go out. My local woods have been hacked down to build a horrible new estate, and at the other end of my village a giant new estate is being built that is more like a new town. God knows what the traffic will be like when all those houses and flats are occupied.

The problem here is 'with everything they have'. There comes a time when that becomes excessive and disproportionate. There isn't a simple fix - Hamas use the population of Gaza as human shields, that's obvious. I would like nothing more than to see them eradicated. But at the same time the Israeli government needs to stop the ongoing expansion of settlements in the West Bank which contravene international law.

My position on this conflict is that two wrongs never make a right.

Today 300,000 people from all religions and ethnicies marched for peace in London. Many more marched for peace in cities around the UK.

Most of the violence and trouble came from just a few thousand fascist men. I know who did Hate Marches today. And I know who egged them on and brought them onto the streets to wreak fear and terror.

If you think these thugs or the rabble rousers who rouse them are the majority, then it is you who exists in an echo chamber. The numbers prove it.

Ffs. Yes you can be concerned about immigration and there is a discussion to be had. What is NOT fine is showing a photo of various people exiting a tube station on their way to show support for Palestinians, being deliberately juxtaposed to a group of three or so older, exclusively white people selling poppies and declaring the protesters to represent an 'immigration problem.' Most of them were probably born here! And why is being concerned about millions of Palestinian civilians, trapped within enforced borders and unable to flee, mean that you 'don't represent British values?'

Farage knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely divisive, a blatant racist and he manipulates and exploits the most unpleasant sentiments in society, emboldening people with crap about 'telling it as it is' and 'free speech.'

What a joke that I've been called 'Far Left' because I can't stomach the man, what he has done to this country or anything he stands for. He is hateful. And yes, I do believe the BBC is biased to the left and this is why I watch a range of news, as I said. But GB News is not 'news' in my view. It's a national embarrassment.

Anyway, they are saying SB is on verge of being sacked. All we need now, is NF to get 'lost' in Australia.

I feel the same about the BBC as you do about GBN, so much so I no longer pay the TV Licence. I am working class and can't stand the smug patronising presenters who are mostly clueless and haven't lived in the real world whilst pretending to be impartial - they all have the same world view. Similar on Channel 4 and Sky News so to me and many others GBN is a breath of fresh air. Good to have a range of channels to watch.

Love GB news. Not really right wing, but centre right. I find the reporting no more biased than the BBC.

Don't have that tv channel here but at least you have free speech as our RTE here in Ireland so corrupt full of fraud and is a propaganda mouth piece for the government & only seem to report on news in Dublin. Also they are looking for millions to bail them out and people have refused to pay tv license as it came out that the 'so called talent' were spending tv license fee payers money on trips abroad, and all sorts, so corrupt. No-one wants rte anymore and it should be if you want it you subscribe and not a tv license. As for Nigel Farage he always reminds me of a toad, I call him toadie. OP, I thoroughly agree with you. Normalising GB news and, or, Nigel Farage is awful. Of course we can switch it off but it's still there and that's what is terrifying. His, and GB News, 'othering' of people is what has got us into the very scary and precarious situation we are in now. People really need to wake up to what we're sleepwalking in to.

Yes, and it's not all men on GBN, alot of younger women which gives me hope for the future. And the fact that alot of people are also cancelling their TV licences also great as the younger generation don't watch live TV so hopefully the death knell of the BBC (and I speak as someone who has fond memories of the BBC in the 70s and 80s when there were intelligent interviewers and excellent programmes - you only have to watch old YouTube question times to see how low they've sunk).

Oh do give over, I'm more worried about the Islamists and Hamas supporters on the streets, I wish people would wake up.

Michelle D is the show I watch . Both sides of the argument and lots of stories I knew nothing about , Waspi women , the post office scandal , leasehold issues etc etc .
Their breakfast show is good aswell , guests from the left and right reviewing the papers .

The BBC isn't far left. I find it up the arse of the government. They put a filter on a lot of their news and are quite biased, but this governements antics are getting even more trickier to minimise and distract from now. They should have been ripping them to shreds by now and they don't even get near that.

People are so easily distracted by bullshit and hot air on BBC and GB News. The people on GB News really don't give a even a tiny fuck about regular people and are completely immersed in their own egos and opinions. It's very obvious to me.

I do find a lot of far kept wing news annoying too. Very hard to find news channels/media which isn't biased towards one extreme in some way or has an agenda.

They have woken up and that's why it's becoming more and more popular . This country is unrecognisable and not everyone wants what's happening to this once great land.
