I was recently visiting NY and I made loads of effort to get in touch with and catch up with 2 particular friends while I was there. They were really difficult to get hold of but I persisted cos I had so much to tell them about how amazing I am. I eventually got in touch and literally just as we met up for coffee one my friends husbands was in an accident! I tried to cheer him up by showing him my amazing my dance skills are! Neither if my friends seemed that interested while I was there - I mean I've hardly aged a day and I've ditched perfume for my natural scent - AIBU to expect my friends to pay me some attention and be happy for me as I'm so amazing?

AIBU to be a bit freaked by this woman at a coffee shop I play at? I'm a singer and the owner has hired me to play to his customers because the woman who currently does it is a bit alternative. He wanted a sound that was a little less "put your finger through your eye, into your brain, and swirl it around". But today was my first set and before I played she had a ago at me (I think because I'm being paid) and was all smug about the fact I didn't have a guitar strap(?!). Then while I was playing she basically staged a singing demonstration outside and her lyrics were a bit personal. Do you think it's safe for me to play there again?
