I’ll start super easy: My best friend plays guitar. She’s absolutely awful but thinks she’s great and is now insisting on playing at my wedding. Should I tell her she’s awful or let her play?

I've recently moved in with a guy (let's call him J) and he's lovely, but his friends across the hall are AWFUL. The bloke is so "blahhh" if you know what I mean? And the woman... she's just very loud for such a small person. I keep making excuses not to see them, but I think they're starting to twig as my story last night didn't match up with the excuse J gave them (he told them I was sick, but I said I was going to the ballet - whoops). I want to keep avoiding them - AIBU?! They're honestly so awful!

My friend is the creative type... she loves music and is quite arty-fartsy. She's decided to gift me and my roomate a god awful painting. It's super creepy and now me and my roommate are fighting about who gets the painting (neither of us actually wants it) without letting on that we hate it.
