About 850k.

How did you get that figure?

FarmGirl78 · 06/11/2023 18:35

The 4 houses on this side of the street are £130k ish
That 4 houses on that side of the street are £250k ish.

vernatheraven · 06/11/2023 19:11

130k

emmaw1405 · 06/11/2023 19:39

All the houses on my road are the same, a few have kitchen and/or loft extensions. Average price is about £800k.

backinthestoneage · 06/11/2023 19:40

1.4m - 4 bed with small garden - Surrey

WhatDoWeCallHim · 06/11/2023 19:45

How does this work if there is a mixture of flats and houses? Top end of our street is 3-5 bed Edwardian houses semi detached large gardens, drives etc, bottom end are actually larger Edwardian houses so have mainly been converted to flats, then there's a Sainsbury's local with a block of flats newly built above it on the corner. The mean average for that lot isn't going to have any real meaning for any of the individual properties

but this is the very definition of average- for instance the average is 800k- there can be homes of 2m and 450k on the same street

Otherwise OP could have asked what is your house worth.

Spacie · 06/11/2023 19:56

Small (60 houses) estate of 1960s 4 beds on generous plots. Between £650k & £700k unless they need gutting or have been massively extended - most have modest extensions.

StrawberryWater · 06/11/2023 20:03

There’s only 5 houses in total on my row and the last one to sell was ours (when we bought it) 10 years ago so honestly no idea. Zoopla is no help because of how little the houses are sold.

I imagine when someone does sell here they’ll go for a fair amount (period property, river and woodland opposite, huge country park 10 minutes away with plenty of good school etc).

PonyPatter44 · 06/11/2023 20:07

A billion trillion pounds.

chariotspades · 06/11/2023 20:42

Nonsense.

OP posts:
ChickHenLittle · 06/11/2023 20:45

Only £1.5 billion as the houses are so tiny and it's not a desirable area.

Garlicnaan · 06/11/2023 20:47

730k in the past year according to
Rightmove but I'd say more like 600. Row of terraces mostly!

mindutopia · 06/11/2023 20:47

We don’t have a street, but in our (very small) post code which covers a handful of fields and houses, I’d guess it’s probably around £900,000. House next to us is meant to go on the market soon and someone told us they reckon it will be £1.2 million or so (it’s not that nice but does have a lot of land).

Average house would be about 1.5-2mln. Average flat about 400k

Humdingerydoo · 06/11/2023 21:17

Not sure about the average, but ours is the cheapest house on the street and cost us 550k about 6 years ago 😭😭😭😭😭

OuiOuiMonAmiJeMappelleLafayette · 06/11/2023 21:43

£392k

There are a lot of flats that sell for around £290k to £350k. The houses, which there are a lot less of, are worth/sell for between £600k and £1.2million.
