AIBU to feel annoyed Marks and Spencer have.....

changed their knicker styles? The style I have bought for years no longer exists. Have bought underwear from M&S forever, but have had to shop elsewhere.
Very disappointed!

Yes, yes, yes! They're the only ones I've bought for about 5 years now. Substantial with a little band of stetch lace at the front. I have every colour under the sun - and lots of black!

My oldest daughter needed new pants recently, and picked some of these when we were getting groceries in Sains. She loves them, says they're really comfortable.

I've worn M & S midis since Moses was a lad and almost screamed when i saw they'd been discontinued, but i've tried the high rise shorts and do really like them. I've gone up a size as they seem a bit snugger, but very happy with them.

I'm another one who was very worried by their disappearance.

According to the lingerie lady in mine, they added the stickers to the new version because so many people were asking about the midis. The colours/patterns aren't good at the moment though.

(I still really miss their tabbouleh.)

I hate shops that discontinue stuff, Morrisons a few years ago did an amazing mango and pink peppercorn salad dressing for about six months, one of the roaming managers said it had been discontinued because there was no demand but the assistant standing with him said I was the fourth person who'd asked for it that morning!

Twenty or more years ago Sainsbury's did a tearing bread with chocolate chips, lovely when just warmed.
Over thirty years ago Ritter Sport did a Mocha bar that they don't do now and I still haven't forgiven them.
Why do Schweppes not sell Bitter Orange in the UK yet they do in Germany? Not Brexit before someone ticks that box, this predates all that nonsense.

They stopped doing my favourite pants in about 2010. I have never found any others as comfortable and pretty at the same time! The only ones that came close for comfort were these hideous gigantic granny pants of the kind that are sold on market stalls. When I had DC1 I ended up in hospital without my hospital bag, and when my dad came to see me he asked if I needed anything and I told him I'd forgotten my disposable undies. He came back from the hospital shop with a three pack of those. They were AMAZING.

They got rid of the sumptuously soft knickers I liked
These ones. Basically big knickers but really soft and stretchy and the lace was too, and made them look a bit nicer
I've even done 90 min spin classes in them as they're so comfortable

They've stopped making the microfibre sports thong too 😮‍💨. Now just make the crap ones with the teeny seamline that unravels rather than the ones with proper waistband.

I used to get them I’ve sort of had a look for some now and then but not enough to notice they don’t even do them anymore. Anyway you could try sloggi midis, they’re better than the marks ones anyway.

personally I wish they did animal print knickers like dinosaurs or pandas. and socks for adults in those prints too. just makes getting dressed more exciting.

Yes! They stocked them in my local M&S until about 2 years ago. I loved them!

From about 2002 to 2005 they made chocolate refrigerator squares. I loved them, then boom. Gone., Never to return. I feel your pain. Stay strong. X

They have got rid of the midi briefs (which were halfway between high rise granny pants and bikini). They seem to have replaced them with shorts style briefs which are far too flappy around the leg!

@viques not sure I should mention this as it crack in chocolate form but have you seen the choc corn bar? It’s in the chocolate aisle rather than the popcorn section- it’s 😋

I will look for it, but i do have to warn you that I am the Marie Celeste of discontinued lines, if they spot me buying something more than once they will immediately close it down. If choc corn bars disappear from the shelves I apologise in advance.

I'm used to love this too, only had vague memories of it, pleased to have heard it actually was a thing though disappointed they got rid of it
