changed their knicker styles? The style I have bought for years no longer exists. Have bought underwear from M&S forever, but have had to shop elsewhere.
Very disappointed!

They stopped doing this incredible salad in the to go section, it had goats cheese and beetroot in it and once a week it was my lunch time treat at work! My mouth is watering thinking about it (yes a salad!). I really miss it.

Also, a few years ago I found a lovely jar of stuff to cook braised red cabbage in M & S but they never had it again

Omg, I loved that sandwich! I still miss it. But no one else remembers it and I was starting to wonder if I'd made it up 😂.

M&S recently stopped stocking their Fairtrade Darjeeling Tea - my absolute favourite :(

@capabilityfrowns - Nice to see another 'high leg' fan- I've worn this style for about 30 yrs. I'm sure some of my older pants are that old I'm worried now they may discontinue so thinking about stocking up.
I also miss the cream cheese and celery sandwich very much- it was a 90's lunch staple for me. What happened to the Wensleydale and carrot chutney sandwich from a few years ago? I don't go in so much these days as WFH.
At least it's coming into 'Festive Sandwich' season - noticed these in Tesco the other day - the M&S one is superior though.

I recently worked in M&S and they have changed the name of midis to high rise shorts.

@viques I've just realised mine hasn't stocked this for ages! I knew something was different in their chocolate section but thanks to your post, I now know I'm missing the choc covered popcorn.

Also, off topic of M and S but my waitrose has stopped selling lyles chocolate syrup. My ice cream is just not the same without it.

A much better alternative to m&s pants is from Muji, the Japanese shop. Amazing quality cotton, proper midi.

I am not sure I can trust my nethers to a company that does not know the difference between pants and shorts...

This so true but to be fair - shoppers are not a charity either and so are free to get grumpy or form opinions of a business based on anything at all.

They don't owe the shop any affection or understanding of decisions.

Every time I go in m and s, I look fruitlessly for their white chocolate and lemon tart from the bakery section :( it was absolutely amazing

I know, it's so annoying! I have bought their cotton bikini briefs since the 70s, and still have one or two holey old pairs of the original style. But the newer ones, although allegedly the same, are much skimpier in the width of the gusset and the cut of the inside groin, if that makes sense? As I still have some older ones I can really see the difference - it's nothing to do with me being older and saggier, there is just a different style/shape going on. And it's definitely sharing too much of my bikini area with the outside world.......!

I think they just changed the name. I found this when I last went. I don't remember the name but it helpfully has a sticker on the packet

Midis are now high rise shorts in M&S. I bought some the other day and they are the same. Product code T614933P in the search box.

I knew exactly which style you meant. Was also fuming.

Sainsburys used to do nice cotton midis too, but now they’ve added something or other and now they aren’t nice breathable cotton. Wasted my money on two packs!

It’s like Microsoft Windows all over again.

We also need them to tell us how much your house is worth! Sad face and house price = a little bit of sympathy and some not very nice comments
