I don't get why she's so celebrated as a style icon for being skinny. She was lovely and had beautiful facial features in her early fame days

Also stick women don't always age well in the face. Fine if you can afford the facelifts, botox and whatever, but not realistic for most.

Not a very kind thread. Personally I think she looks much better now. But we all have different opinions on what looks good I guess. Maybe we shouldn’t be constantly scrutinising other women for the way they look. Calling her a stick is unnecessary. (Would it be OK to call
someone a blob if they were overweight?!) Calling her children basically failures because they didn’t get university degrees. Awful! A degree isn’t the be all and end all. I won’t be making my children go to university. Maybe they will have different/better plans. I went to university. I have not set the world on fire! She is a successful business woman and clearly a very strong and supportive family woman. Yes she has a personal trainer, home gym…you name it. I don’t begrudge her any of it. It’s sad how many people have nothing nice to say about her. So much scorn. So much judgement. Says more about our society than it does about her really.

I think she looked stunning then and looks stunning now. Much better than me and most people that I know.

Not sure whether she has an eating disorder but she is clearly suffering from some form of psychiatric issue with regards to her utterly obsessive determination to never allow herself to be seen smiling in public.

I know plenty of women can have 'resting bitch face' but thats not the case with her, even in situations where it's entirely natural to smile she's obviously determined to not do so.

We don’t know if she is unwell. If she has an ED (and how are we to know?) then she has a serious mental illness.

VB carried four healthy babies herself I respect her for this alone as she didn’t go down the surrogacy route. She’s rich and famous and has made the most of her opportunities and had a lot of hate for it. I respect her more each year and her eyeliner is the best.

For her to ensure she's literally never seen to be smiling regardless of the situation must take a huge amount of will power and mental energy from her, to the point where I'd say it is obsessive and all consuming.

I'd say a suitable description of a psychiatric issue is when something results in such obsessive, all consuming behaviour.

Yants you’re not a diagnostician (or are you? Is this your job perhaps?). She has decided smiling in photos is not for her. It’s just her look. She’s just posing for the cameras. She smiles IRL. I don’t think you can say with such “knowledge” that her behaviour is either obsessive, all consuming or indicative of some deep psychiatric issue. How do you actually know that for sure. You’ve just thrown some random generalised “diagnosis” out there with very little to qualify it. We should stop judging this woman. And all women. Stop scrutinising them. Stop the negativity. Stop judging her children. Her look. What she must eat. Stop diagnosing her with EDs or psychiatric issues. It’s nasty. It perpetuates the idea that woman are there to be judged. It is unhealthy and this thread and many of the people on it should be ashamed.

And yes her make up is really lovely. Both what she wears and sells.

I remember David posting a story on Instagram mocking her for only ever eating fish and steamed veg. I thought he was taking the piss but then watched the docu and when he made the family Sunday dinner, she just had fish…

I think she looks lovely in both pics though fwiw, she is naturally slim although admittedly much slimmer now than she was in the 90s. Age can do that to some people though tbf.

Yes there are various photos of her smiling when she was much younger in her early Spice Girl days... try finding one from the last couple of decades.

Maybe you should do a bit more research before making a bit of a dick of yourself.

You must not know many people. She isn't 'stunning' by any stretch.
