To think its disgusting that dh used my towel

Bought myself a new bath towel recently, a lovely pink fluffy thing, a treat just for me. Dh used it this morning, stuffed it into the wash basket, and went off on his way. So I took it out to get it straight in the washing machine only to find he'd really given himself a good scrub and left the evidence behind 😠Anger level 1-10?

Your issue isn't really the towel is it, it's his rather questionable hygiene.

We always had family towels, no issues all but we practice good personal hygiene

I'm sorry.. Wtaf... he couldn't or didn't wipe his arse after the toilet? He couldn't or didn't clean it in the actual shower either.? And then he wiped shit all over a towel that isn't even his?

I think this is the second or third thread on here recently bewailing that some grown men don't wipe their bums.

Get rid of the man. He can have that towel as a parting gift, whether or not he did it on purpose. Get yourself a new one and move on with your life, without the literally shitty man.

I think sharing towels is the norm in a Household, generally. As for mistakes like pooh, if rare then annoying but not entirely unexpected. If a regular issue, then yuk, it should be embarrassing and something a person is keen to work on improving their method.

Leave Winnie alone. They know how to wipe their bare bear bum thank you very much.

Presumably he didn't deliberately get shit on it. Like, use it like bog roll. Followed through and not realised? It isn't something that's happened to me, but I've known it happen to my patients before now. With some constipated people you could wipe for ever more and they'd never be clean.
