I’ve written since I was little (nobody wants to know how 10 year old me thought sexy times worked!) but not much anymore.

I have rewatched supernatural recently though and posted a lot of fanart on tumblr because it gets a lot of likes and I like the appreciation. I’m not a massive destiel fan but man the fan base is everywhere.

I'm currently burning through my Marauders era Harry Potter fanfiction thanks to the magic of nanowrimo (I really like earning the badges - it's ridiculous).

I don't read much because what is currently popular in Marauders circles is not for me (to put it mildly).

Marauders fans hate JKR so much and insist they have built these characters far more than she has (I'm currently reading The Ink Black Heart and she so perfectly skewers the grandiose audacity of fans who think they have more ownership over canon that its original creator that I think it's no wonder they hate her, she paints them so perfectly but it's not a flattering portrait). Everyone is queer (of some stripe) Remus is an orphan, James goes out with Sirius's brother, Barty Crouch Jnr is a misunderstood emo bad boy who is in love with Evan Rosier (the obscure death eater who died in battle and cursed Mad Eye Moody's nose off - if you were wondering) Regulus is best friends with Luna's mum ... it's a lot. And a lot of not very good.

So I don't read but I do write stuff that is actually canon compliant and have a total blast doing it.

@secretfanficwriter is it dark angel? I loved that show and the fanfic. Some writers are amazing

No, it's nothing supernatural, think more along the lines of party of five, freaks and geeks etc 😊

Oh yes avid fanfic lover here. Started with Twlight over a decade ago and then the whole world opened up, love Star Trek, Star Wars and Supernatural. I'm not an major HP fan but have a thing for Lucius Malfoy ! I've also dabbled into the Marvel universe.
You have to weed your way through the not great stuff at times, but there are some extraordinary talented writers out there, it a joy to read their work!

It's a fandom with some really excellent writers, although some of my faves haven't produced much lately.

I've been reading and writing on the Outlander fandom for ages. Love it.

I've been reading and writing fics for over 20 years. Mostly femslash (Bad Girls/Last Tango in Halifax) though started out as a teen writing AU "Friends" fics.

Reader and writer here :) some small communities but also Marvel and DC where I've done fairly well! I am obsessed with LOTR fanfics at the moment.

I read them, usually about the bands I like. Some are actually really well written. I tried writing some myself, not gonna say who it was about lol but it was years and years ago on quizilla. Personally I thought I was doing a good job until I got bored and abandoned the story half way through.

I’m reading a couple at the moment which haven't been updated for months and i’m scared the authors have given up.

I like reading the Disney stuff, carrying on the lives of the characters after the film ended 🤭 It made watching them on an endless loop easier and more entertaining for me back when my dc used to watch them!

I have only ever read one. It was recently and honestly it was one of the best things I’d read in ages. I’m talking staying up until 1am when I’m working the next day because I couldn’t put it down good! It was Manacled. I never saw the Dramonie appeal but I’m a full concert now!

I haven't for years. I did just listen to the new Buffy podcast though (the one voiced by some of the original cast) It may as well have been fan fiction tbh. Lots of lesbian kissing sounds and growning too 😆

I’m a reader and a writer- I have some niche ones, like fanfic based on Janet Evanovich, and some more main stream.

a favourite fiction series is A year like none other, a summer like none other and a family like none other. Amazingly written HP fanfic by AspeninTheSunlight.

Realised that I’ve been reading fanfiction since the late 90s - starting with The X Files (MSR, of course) and continuing with various shows over the years. Mostly SF/ fantasy shows, but I did get into Bones and Castle fanfic for a while.

Originally the stories were being posted on individual archives or mailing lists, then we had Fanfiction.net, and now AO3. I’ve recently got back into a fandom from several years ago, and was happy to find a few fics that I remembered reading back in the day that have been put on AO3 now.

Never heard of ao3 before.

I used to love reading and writing fanfic for the tribe (a culty teen show that finished about 20 years ago now!). I still occasionally read but I've read most of them multiple times now. Will have to see if ao3 have any!!
