Why do M&S do this?!

Granted other stores probably do same but this is about M&S as that’s where I bought the jumper from.
I took the size sticker off the jumper and it’s left an imprint. Left the jumper for a while thinking it might ‘bounce back’ and it didn’t so I washed it, thinking the fibres might fluff out and still no luck. So there’s still a mark and an imprint…right at the front, under the neck too so in a really obvious place.
Any bright ideas to fix? Can’t return the jumper.

I genuinely laughed that the post directly following this one is “try an ice cube” 😅

Me too.. I was tempted to reply saying 'cancel the cheque' 😂

Not got a clue but removes loads of things, so no harm in trying

I used to always ask for sticky labels on books to be removed by the staff in the shop, I was fed up of the covers being damaged however careful I was. They seem to peel of more easily these days.

thats true, especially when you think you have it sorted then it starts to tear and its like oh *

@Ohdearwhatnow4 does it matter what sort of baking paper? I use silicone baking paper now, but always used to use greaseproof paper.

I wouldn’t have realised silicone paper was absorbent.

Try an ice cube

Why?

It's all sorted and the mark has gone. There's even a picture.

Ohdearwhatnow4 · 15/10/2023 18:21

I'd try baking paper.

Ohdearwhatnow4 · 15/10/2023 18:23

So glad greaseproof paper worked.
