To want it to be colder...?

I'm post-natal and getting hot really easily. Not only this but my busy body neighbours come alive (too much) when the sun's out and I was looking forward to the colder weather so I didn't have to see/hear them so much for a few months!
Maybe I am a miserable old cow but I wish it would get cold!!

Well it's around 12 degrees here and we have wind and torrential rain so I wouldn't want it too much colder!
I do sympathise though, didn't realise some parts of the UK were still quite hot. I prefer the colder weather too, hopefully it'll cool down for you soon.

I want it to be cold!! Its October, I had put away all our summer clothes, there is far too many insects around, and totally agree with more alive neighbours. I want to come home and put a candle on and snuggle up under a blanket, Not be sweating. I've had enough humidity this year.

its the run up to Halloween and then Christmas. Should be crispy fresh,

Silver lining is getting as much as my washing done and dried outside before the temp drops to where it should be Thurs.

Don't worry, we'll soon have months of misery, cold, rainy and dark. I feel depressed even thinking about it

I just don't understand the obsession with snuggling under blankets and being cosy....unless you are feeling poorly

And I don't see the obsession with laying on a hot beach.
It's just something I prefer. Everyone is different.

9° here with rain and wind. Pretty miserable.

As lovely as it is here I actually find it alarming that it is so warm ! It really is not great for the environment.

I’m also hoping the weather turns colder soon. I’ve had enough of listening to neighbours. They can all fuck off inside for the winter. And yes, I AM an old misery

I'm insisting on wearing a jumper and fluffy socks even though I'm in London and it's 20+ degrees here. I love hot weather and I love cold weather but I hate in-between weather.

Yes, me too. I love the sun, but really wish it would turn colder. I’m in Essex, and it’s been so warm I’ve struggled to sleep. That has meant having the windows wide open, which means being woken up at three in the morning by the screeching and exploding of boy racers. My ideal day is bright, warm sun, but sparkling frost and snow in the ditches.

I want to wear my long wool coat - I always look smarter in the winter! And boots! It's still too bloody hot!

I'm totally ready for the cooler weather to kick in. I love Autumn. Cosy nights in infront of the fire while it's raining outside are my favourite.

And so glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoys the winter months because it means not seeing the neighbours for awhile.

I wish! Whereabouts are you? I'm up north and it's 20 degrees which I hate. It's October and should be the season of crunching leaves, conkers, crisp mornings abd cosying.

Oh I'm pretty good at lazing around watching tv but I see no need to "snuggle". In fact I shudder at the word.

Same here but it's only a few more days I think, by the end of next week we can get the big jumpers out

It's been cold here with intermittent rain for days.

Same!! Love my boots and jumpers. Don't like my warm weather wardrobe. Prefer being cozy in my big coat to being warm and sunny.

I hate summer so can't wait for it to go away, I like being inside when it's miserable outside. Autumn is my favourite season but it feels more like flipping spring out there

The only good thing is being able to dry my washing outside, loads of it was dry but I'm having to rewash loads of it because the bastarding birds had crapped on it 😡😡😡

Dark cold mornings .
Getting dark early .
Cold weather or damp cold rainy days .
Frost fog love it
I do like spring time though

Mind you i suffer with migraines and the above weather i dont have half as many.
I dont hate summer but i dont like its too hot not a fan of heat or bright sun.
